Offenes Konzept Wohnzimmer / Esszimmer / Küche blickt auf das schöne Wasser der Bucht. Riesige Fenster am Ufer bieten eine atemberaubende Aussicht. Morgensonne ist nicht zu verpassen. Du willst mit deinem Kaffee runtergehen und auf dem Seedeck Platz nehmen und alles mitnehmen.

Dieses Haus begrüßt bis zu 6 Gäste mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern. 2 Schlafzimmer sind auf der Hauptebene mit 1 Queen und 2 Einzelbetten. 1 Vollbad im Erdgeschoss. Das Loft-Stil Schlafzimmer auf der oberen Etage verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett und ein Badezimmer. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind inklusive. Home verfügt auch über zentrale Luft.

Die Küche bietet einen bequemen Platz, um Mahlzeiten zuzubereiten und direkt zum Essbereich zu servieren. Wäschetrockner.

Wonderful relaxing and cozy retreat.

Breath-taking

Very clean and modern lakefront cottage with gorgeous views of Suttons Bay. Comfortable beds and lots of space. Nice kitchen/dining area. Outside accomodations were wonderful, including nice furniture, a big gas grill on the upper deck and plenty of seating on the lower deck. Enjoyed a late night fire on the rocky shore and floating on the crystal clear water in the Bay.

Two small things I would change. 1. Needs a new lockbox for the key. We struggled this year and last with that. The latch doesn't work properly. We followed the instructions given and it just isn't simple. 2. Needs more chairs by the fire pit and needs some sort of seating on the lake front deck. There were only 4 useable chairs for 6 guests. Overall, we adore this house and can't wait to come back.

Beautiful View but house is just ok

The view from the house is spectacular! It’s right on the bay and has gorgeous windows so that is by far the highlight of the property. You can swim but it is very rocky so you would need water shoes if you have kids that want to swim or go on the beach at all. I gave 4 stars because the house itself could be cleaner but the property definitely needs some maintenance. There’s spider webs everywhere you can’t even sit on any of the outdoor furniture and there are allot of weeds. the landscaping overall needs to be improved to be a 5 star property in my opinion. We love this area and absolutely enjoyed our vacation but I don’t think I would book this house again for the price we paid.

Mother Daughter weekend getaway

The only problem we had was with the remotes to the TV’s, but really not a big deal because we really was that interested in TV. We all know the area very well and love it. Manager left out some important details.

I picked this location because my family and I were attending a wedding at the Black Star Farm. The property is very beautiful. I’m not happy with some of the things the manager should have made me aware of like the bathroom sink is stopped up, the tub faucet, handles and shower head in the bathroom are rusted, the kitchen window and door frame are exposed/incomplete which left a draft in the house.

The Lodge is not actually in Suttons Bay, but was within a few miles driving distance. Next time we would probably look for a property within walking distance to town. Overall it was a very nice property and we had a great time.

Not worth the price

This could be a beautiful place to stay, however the house was not clean at all. The outdoor area leading to the water was all overgrown and weeds were everywhere through the decking. We had four people stay and there were only two chairs for people to sit on down by the water. The patio furniture on the upper deck was so dirty you could not utilize it at all. I side the home there was a two inch layer of dust on every surface, the sofa was broken, the tv was broken so they placed one under neath it. The upstairs tv did not work at all. For having a property management company over see this property it was a mess.

Enjoyed my Month here

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Lodge Chalet is a property I enjoyed and would return to. It is good vibes, clean, totally private, on West Bay and close to Suttons. I slept well and appreciated the main living room overlooking the bay. That said, the owners are behind on updating and maintenance in a few ways that need attention, especially since it is being offered to the public. There are many upgrades to this house, but many more to go. I recommend this property, but I also recommend immediate TLC for the structure.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was exceptional, right on Suttons Bay with great views. We were able to anchor our jet skis right off the shoreline which was perfect. Unfortunately the home had not been cleaned very well when we arrived. We informed Up North Vacation Rentals about this and they had someone there before the end of the day who did a great job. Overall we were happy with the rental but it definitely was in need of a deep cleaning inside and out and the property needs to be sprayed for insects.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The weather was rainy and cool but that didn’t stop us. The Chalet has a wonderful view overlooking Lake Michigan. We went down to the lakeshore and hunted for Petoskey Stones. The Chalet was clean and very updated. The only things I would change would be to move the outside patio dining table to the other side of the deck so the view of the lake isn’t obstructed when sitting on the couch. Also, leave instructions on how to operate the fireplace, unless it’s broken and that’s why we couldn’t get it to work. Also, provide placemats and coasters so the tabletops don’t get ruined. Otherwise, everything was lovely!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I really had a wonderful experience! We normally go to the Outer Banks but decided to try closer to home. The cottage was cozy and had been updated - bathrooms and windows were new (no trim around windows - dint bother us, but might others). Very clean. Beautiful view of the lake! Very close to Suttons Bay, Omena, Northport restaurants and activities and can be be in Traverse City or Leelanau in 20 to 25 minutes. We rented kayaks and they were delivered! It was awesome! Definitely recommend this cottage as well as Visit Up North Rentals - they were awesome to work with! One issue - downstairs TV wasn’t functioning properly and was replaced. One recommendation - add a broom and we would sweep the kitchen/dining area floor through out the week. Thanks for a great stay!
