nice place for large Family.

We had a short stay! House was exactly like the pics on line. Kitchen was huge and updated. we will stay again.

Inaccurate listing and house appears unfinished

The property is partially under remodel. The listing is inaccurate with regards to bed sizes. Communication was inconsistent. I inquired about property a few weeks ahead of our arrival and owner did not respond until a couple days ahead of our arrival (had questions about whether master bedroom had a walk-in shower or tub--traveling with my 88 year old mother. Check-in was easy but I had to ask for any check-in instructions the day before our arrival. The kitchen smells like natural gas on and off. The basement areas are rough- no outlet covers, very noisy from upstairs movement, and holes in the ceiling. The back patio has a lot of stuff on it, which makes going outside undesirable.

Overall very enjoyable!

Host was very nice and accommodating. Floors were a little dirty but that was really the only issue we had! Rented for a friendgiving and worked wonderfully. Naturally we forgot some stuff so had to make store runs and the location is close to many different stores.

Me and my fiance stayed at this property and had a few friends over for my 27th birthday party and it was so cute and quiet we would definitely stay again !

Overall stay was okay. I can tell that the property is continuing to be enhanced and worked on to make it better. That being said, there was a lot of clutter around and the cleanliness of the property was not great. Half bath has a urine smell that radiates throughout the whole house. The refrigerator and freezer is full of others’ leftovers and the windows need a desperate cleaning. The front and back lawn is very nice but not tidy. The owner was very responsive with basic questions. I would stay again if the above issues were addressed.

Listing not accurate, many issues during stay

On check-in day, the host told me the basement was under construction and off limits. She assured me everything on the listing was on the 1st floor. But when we arrived, we saw that the office & twin bed were in the basement. The listing said there are 2 queen beds, 1 full bed, and 1 twin bed. That’s not true – there is 1 queen bed, 2 full beds, and supposed to be 1 twin bed. The 1/2 bath smelled of urine. The dishwasher beeped every 30 seconds & we couldn’t make it stop. The AC wasn’t turned on before our arrival, so the house was 80 degrees. Once we figured out how to work the thermostat, the house took a long time to cool down. The hot water had been shut off before our arrival. The host was very responsive after our arrival. She was not aware of the beeping dishwasher or the hot water situation. On our 2nd day, she came to the house to fix things. She turned the hot water back on and reset the dishwasher, which was appreciated. BUT her solution for the missing twin bed was to put one in the middle of the living room! This meant that we could not fully utilize that room, since the bed took up most of the (previously open) floorspace. There were many other issues I didn’t bring to the hosts attention, since we wanted the major problems to be a priority. For ex: outlets not working, chairs looked like they were used as cat scratching posts, and there were no extra blankets/sheets. Overall, this stay was very disappointing and we are working to receive a partial refund.
