Easter vacation / Osterurlaub

English: Had a great time with my sun for a 1 week stay at Helens condo/house. Where her for a golfing tour. Very well equiped unit with everything you need. Very short drive to Disney and US192 just around the corner. Its a very calm community. Wan`t to come back next year. Deutsch: Sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit meinem Sohn zu einer einwöchigen Golftour. Das Haus ist wunderbar. Sehr sauber, ausgezeichnet ausgestattet und mit massig Platz. Ruhige Wohnanlage mit der US192 direkt um die Ecke. Zum World Drive/Disney sind es gerade mal 3 Minuten. Die Abwicklung mit Helen war top. Werde wenn alles klappt naechstes Jahr auf alle Fälle wiederkommen.

It was very close to the parks and stores. The house was clean but it needs some updating of rugs (there are some stains). We did have an issue with a smoke detector upon checkin but we communicated with the host and things were cleared up quickly.

Close to all the attractions

The townhome was clean and comfortable. It was nice that there was enough room for us and our adult children to spread out and it was close to all the attractions and activities we wanted to do. Plenty of dining options available as well. It was nice that there was a washer and dryer as well as a full kitchen.

the townhouse was nice but the property was run down . when you look out the back door all the neighbors have run down patios. We came into the house and it was really nice but the rest of the property takes away from the place

Misleading listing

Pros: close to Disney and the unit was clean. Cons: run down neighborhood with security gate broken during our almost 2 1/2 month stay. Photos in the listing are old. Furniture has slip covers and needs to be replaced. There is no walking path. It is boarded up with weeds. Pool is not heated and was so cold it was unusable. Other snowbirds confirmed the heated pool has been down for years. Also I talked a few times with landscape manager to get our grass cut but never happened. The back patio of unit is not usable. Uncut grass and weeds, small decorative furniture and owners dogs wandering unleashed made the patio not usable. 6 snowbird couples did pick up dog poop so we could play bocce ball. We did notice that one owner with multiple rentals gets all the services. We met 10 other snowbird couples during our stay and they all were booking elsewhere next year. In conclusion short few day stay may be ok but not long term.

Never Again

Apartment complex is incredibly dirty, trash everywhere. dumpster area was disgusting. neighbors are loud and up all night (can hear them inside condo). gated community but the exit gate is always open. Pictures do not match furniture. Bedroom furniture is so large you can barely walk in the rooms. Found dead cockroaches in living room Shower curtain rods/hooks are rusted. No hot water in bathroom sinks. Master mattress is lumpy and hard to sleep on. Couches are broken down and sound like they will fall apart when sat on. Carpet has stains everywhere. Washing machine is violently off balance. Ceiling fans shake roughly. They charge a cleaning fee, then leave instructions for the renter to clean the condo.

This condo is a great location and close to all of the Orlando entertainment. It is clean, well stocked, and convenient. The pool is great and the gate neighborhood allows for extra security. You will enjoy this condo with your family.

This is a clean condo in an older development. Helen responded immediately when the front porch light was burned out. Interior was great, beds comfortable. Neighborhood was very safe. Entrance to the complex is tucked away so it’s easy to miss the first time!

Met all our basic needs

In town for 3 weeks for training for work with 2 coworkers. It was great that we all had our own rooms and bathrooms and shared the kitchen and laundry. The house was nice, but very basic. Could definitely benefit from a refresh of new furniture and carpet. The neighborhood was a little rougher than I would have expected for being a gated community, which I know the homeowner has no control over. That being said, if this is an HOA, they are not enforcing rules at all. Over all, our basic needs were met and it was an affordable place to call home for 3 weeks while at training for work. I would consider this place to stay at again.

BUYER BEWARE…YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

We read a lot of reviews before choosing this rental. There were a couple of reviews on this rental that had what I considered minor issues that could be fixed fairly easy. We got our instructions on how to get into the unit 2 days before we arrived. The price you pay for the unit includes a cleaning fee. What we found out from this letter was that they only have time to change the sheets, clean the restrooms and put out new towels. The minimum. The instructions also said to let them know when you get to the unit if things seem out of place or if there are any issues so that you don’t get blamed for them. One of the previous reviews said that the porch light was out. Two months later and the porch light was still out. To me that is a safety issue and should have been a priority. We found several lights out in the unit, broken closet doors and other wear and tear on the walls from normal rental use. We took pictures of everything and sent it to the owner within an hour of checking into the place. Her response back to us was “thank you for letting us know”, that was it. After a long day of traveling & going to the parks for a few hours we got back at around 10 pm ready to go to bed. Much to our disgust when we pulled back the bedsheets in the master bedroom there were cookie crumbs in the bed, the bunk room had Band-Aids stuck to the bed frame and the top bunk was not secured to the bottom bunk on all four sides. The bedroom downstairs had hairs all over in the bedsheets and pillows and there was a strong body odor smell in the room. We had to strip all of the beds and wash the bedding before we could go to bed that night. The next morning we noticed the back patio had trash all over like an animal had gotten into the trash and no one had cleaned it up. We found dirty coffee cups in the cupboard with food stuck on them. The kitchen table food crumbs stuck in all of the crevices. There was a drawer missing under the sink in the kitchen. The fridge had missing door shelves. Once again, I sent a message to the owner letting her know about all of these things along with pictures and her response was “We rely on our management team to take care of these things as we are not local. They are looking into getting new housekeeping”. Again no apology for the condition of the unit or anything. I understand this is a rental and because of its location probably sees a lot of traffic, but I was really disappointed in the unit itself and the owners response.

Guess it could have been worse

It was ok… it def could have used a better cleaning. Had kind of a smell. Other peoples hair In the shower, had a smell, beds weren’t soft at all. So glad I brought my own linens. Neighbors were having some kind of get together late one night. Gate entrance was broken on day two and wide open. Everything was just old and we were hoping for more comfy than a hotel but will go the hotel route next time. And pay half what we did here.

It was a nice house. I wish they would of had more like bathroom paper ( they only put 1 in each bathrooms n we had 3 bathrooms). They didn't give us any cleaning supplies just dishsoap. I've stayed in other houses a d they gave us cleaning supplies which was nice seens we were a big group.

Filthy and pungent smell of BO and sweat

Jumper One 20 minutes away from the property and no security code to get in number two we got there and the place was filthy front window was open somebody had been smoking inside there were cigarette burns on the carpet holes in the carpet and the front front room smelled like cigarettes number three the tile floors travertine head ground in dirt and we’re almost black in color my wife spent two days scrubbing them number four the furniture is old and sweat stain and smells like body odor including the sofas and beds five the there were food stains food stuck to the kitchen counters and cabinets number six the one of the cabinets was broken and the front door fell off and hit my wife’s toe number for six or 70 there were wet towels stinky wet towels in the dryer number eight there’s mold around the tubs and the grout number nine there was mold in the ceiling from water damage and the AC units need cleaning and filters number 910 no no dustpan and broom vacuum cleaner number 11 the vacuum cleaner was so filthy it stunk and it was rap for hair and debris number 12 Vrbo is a terrible organization all of their customer service representatives appear to be from India or some other country that’s non-English-speaking spent over six hours on the phone with them could not get a resolution versus yeah they hung up on her several times I will never ever ever ever ever book for Vrbo again and I don’t recommend anyone ever stay in this townhouse

Fair stay

The location was nice if your doing the parks. The pool was great, a lot of seating and was kept clean. Owners could have been a bit more generous with amenities - we were left only a few rolls of toilet paper for 3 bathrooms. A couple of dish towels and no laundry/dish soap. No extra blankets. Old furniture and all around a bit dirty. The price was low enough...which was a bonus.

Home Away from Home

We enjoyed our stay here. The location was close to the Disney Parks. The pool was nice, but improvement is needed in overall maintenance. The bulb was out on the outside entry, a bulbs were out in the main floor bathroom and upstairs hallway and plants needed to be trimmed on the walk to the entrance. The place was clean and spacious, and the beds were comfortable.

Good value for money and convenient location

Nice property and great location for our needs. We were generally happy with our stay, and the value for our money. Owners could have been a bit more generous with amenities - we were left only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 3 bathrooms. A couple of dish towels and a baking sheet would been welcome. Listing stated the dining table seated 6 but there were only 4 chairs. The tv remote in the living room didn’t work, the couch was uncomfortable and an extra chair for seating there would have been nice. But overall, it was clean, convenient and fairly well-equipped. Would definitely recommend for value.
