Relax with the whole family at this 2 bed, 2 bath condo with wood fireplace. The Getaway is the perfect place to enjoy the best activities in life or enjoy a tranquil weekend in the stunning hills of Galena. Steps away from the South Golf Course and easy access to three other incredible courses in the Galena Territory. Your stay gives you year round access to the Owners Club - indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center, pickle ball, tennis, spa, marina, hiking, biking, horseback riding & more!

The space

A cozy two bedroom condo tucked away among the hills and woods. Master Bedroom at entry level has a 55 inch HD TV, plenty of closet space and ensuite full bath. Walk down the stairs into an open kitchen, dining, living area with floor to ceiling windows that give plenty of light. The living room has a 65 HD inch TV over a wood burning fireplace. The large comfy sofa has a pull out bed if needed. The kitchen is fully stocked with almost anything you would need. Off the living room is the 2nd bedroom with a jack and jill full bath room attached. 2nd bedroom also has a 55 inch TV.

Guest access

The condo is not shared. Owners Club amenities (pools, fitness, business center, game room and arcade, and gym) is shared. A keycard is provided for each guest to access and is included in your stay.

Home was just as advertised. Very clean and cozy. TV’s / Cable were very easy to use which is not always the case at the homes in the territory. Great location close to all the amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

Astounding weekend getaway

Host was incredibly nice and responsive. Condo was exactly as listed. Everything was clean with plenty of towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, face wash, and lotion. All kitchen and cooking utensils provided with several seasonings as well. Highly recommend, exceptional value for the price!

Nice for a girls getaway.

Condo is very clean, and also seems to have been brought up to date with furniture and color schemes. Beds were all very comfortable. The table in this villa was bigger than others we have stayed at; it seated six and was nice to have the surface space. Pretty much everything you need is there. We did feel like a few more towels would have been nice but it worked out ok. Another thing that sets this rental apart, is that there are 6 owners club passes. Everywhere we have stayed only has 4, so if you have kids with you it might be to your benefit. I would stay again and I would recommend this property.

Galena Territory Weekend

Communication with the owner from the beginning was very good and the check-in information was complete.The townhouse looks like it does in the posting so there were no surprises. When we arrived we realized the thermostat wasn’t working. We contacted the owner (who seemed to know the thermostat needed to be replaced) who was very responsive in sending out a service technician and repaired the situation very quickly. We were impressed. We loved the wood burning fireplace which made the place feel very cozy. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Behold the Galena Territory! Endless amenities and activities for all ages are within your reach. The condo is located steps away from North Golf Course, and within a 5 min drive of three others, including The General (a top IL Course). Guest have year round access to the Owner Club (5 min drive) which includes indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness center, indoor gym, business center, a game room (pool, ping pong, foosball, snooker) with an arcade, seasonal snack bar, and tennis courts. Also close is Eagle Ridge resort with Spa and dining options. Pickleball courts, horseback riding and trails for all ages at the Shenandoah Riding Center, over 20 miles of biking, hiking, and running trails 7 of which surround beautiful Lake Galena. Lake Galena has a marina for boat rentals and is a fantastic fishing lake. All this is just a 10 min drive from Historic Downtown Galena with incredible shops, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, historic sites, and nature preserves. 15 min away is Chestnut Mountain, one of the best ski hills in IL with jaw dropping views of the Mississippi. It also has an Alpine Slide and Zip Line running in the summer months and is home to an exquisite disc golf course. The Driftless Region is also home to some of the best Fly Fishing in the Midwest! There is so much to do and experience in this area for all ages.
