Nice ocean front one bedroom condo at Kona Reef.
This ground floor condo offers easy access to the pool and bbq area, is close to parking and only a block and a half to town.
Hear the waves, and watch the surfers from the roomy lanai and enjoy year round sunsets. The condo is direct ocean front, just 30ft from the water.
The condo has a full kitchen with range, oven dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and the small appliances you will need. There is Wifi for your use, Cable TV in the living room and bedroom too, and a washer and dryer inside the condo. The living/dining area is roomy and looks directly out to the ocean just 30ft away. There is a dining table for 4, a sleeper sofa, and a recliner to relax in.
This is the perfect condo for a stay of a few days or a stay of a few weeks or more. You can easily walk to Kona town, just a block and a half away. Free parking, free internet and a spectacular view makes this the ideal location for your stay in Kailua Kona while you enjoy the numerous activities Hawaii Island has to offer. Kona Reef

Overall good experience. Unit could use some upgrades to patio area and screen door. Flooring outdoor on patio is sub-par. Good overall.

Deception

WE DID NOT STAY HERE!! The moment we walked in we noticed a very musky and moldy smell. The bed cover had multiple visible stains on top and a stain on the pillow. So disgusted we went to wash our hands and with more disgust we could not believe the rust on the toilet seat and the chalking around the sink and tub chipping apart. There was visible signs of paint chips off the wall and on the ground and cracks on multiple tiles on the floor. Now the kitchen had rust on the side of the stove and all appliances were old. The living area was dirty and curtains that were stained and hung up with plastic bag ties at the top. Window was stained and did not open and close properly. Phone had visible stains as well on it. We were with another couple and they had the unit next to ours and it was amazing inside. My wife was in tears and she called the manager which moved us to another unit at the back facing the roof of the BBQ area and partial pool view with partial ocean view ( we paid for Ocean Front ). However, it was not the greatest either but had to do at that moment. MY wife and her dream vacation had come to an end due to deception on advertising. This place should be shut down and renovated and not be rented anymore until then.

Almost 5 Stars, except furniture

Absolutely perfect location, beautiful view, good communication and easy parking. Unit was clean and well appointed with everything one might need in the kitchen. But if there were a rating for comfort I would give it 0 stars. The furniture (especially the bed) is very uncomfortable. In fact, the bed might be one of the worst I've ever slept on. The couch wasn't much better. Normally I wouldn't be so stingy with my stars, but this was my husband and my first vaction in 5 years and it sucked to not be able to sleep well or relax in comfort.

Walking distance to every restaurant in the area. Stunning ocean front views. On the free bus route! Only drawback we had was the bed. Way too soft/ sagging. My husband ended up sleeping on the couch one night and for the last two nights, we put the couch mattress on the main room floor that worked really well. Excellent sleeps after that. That said, we won’t hesitate to stay in this unit again I’m already trying to book for 2024. Great value from what I have seen

Love the location!

Stayed here with my family (including a 15 year old and 11 year old). The futon was fine for them. We loved the location. Being able to walk to town was really nice for the day after a scuba night dive when we couldn't get too far from Kona. And the view of the sunset from the lanai is THE BEST! The kitchen had everything we needed.
