Good time but multiple suggestions

First impression upon walk in was that it was not thoroughly deep cleaned. Overall the house seems a little run down and could use some repairs and general upkeep and maintaining. We made the best of it and really enjoyed our time at the beach, but in no particular order, here are some suggestions for improvement: sweep floors, wash windows, replace fridge water filter, fix and clean ice makers, vacuum carpets, empty dryer lint vent, leave a binder with garbage day etc, (owner did offer to send out cleaning crew, but we didn't want to delay our time), pool was not clean and was green often (quick response by owner to try to fix). kitchen sliding glass door is almost impossible to open/close - this is the main entrance to the pool area- and handle is super loose, pool lights do not work, multiple bulbs in house out, tv in upstairs bedroom and kitchen do not work, the kitchen items are lacking/terrible, the pool deck was filthy, the pool bar and grill area are disgusting inside and out with no filled propane tanks and roaches coming out of the charcoal grill, exposed wires and loose electrical outlets, poor yardwork/landscape, no towel racks and not enough towels per bathroom/person, bottom bathroom would not flush (we made the easy fix), bottom bathroom soap holder is completely busted (more than half broke off- could cut your self), there are minimal blinds on windows, master bath spa tub does not work, no outside shower, no fitness room, no game room and no access to garage as listed, only 2 private bedrooms.

Flagler Beach

This is a great house in a good location. A very large pool for a private beach rental house. This property is in an area of other large houses with no large condominium proprieties or hotels. Therefore, you basically have a private beach. Most impressive was the owner's responsiveness when we needed assistance. There were some initial pool problems, and she sent her pool person over within hours of calling. One day a smoke detector's battery became low with the expected beeping. Because of the high ceilings we could not reach and again she had someone right over.

Pool water quality not great

Pool was green tinged on arrival and only got worse. Workers were responsive once we notified manager. They came and added chemicals such that we couldn’t swim for a day.

My husband and I have dreamed for many years of owning an ocean front property in a warmer climate. We have 6 adult children and 6 grand children. We all love the beach, exploring and traveling! We love the space this home provides to accommodate all of us! We knew when we arrived in Flagler County this was the spot! The feel of old Florida, the beauty of the beach, the community of kind people who are dedicated to keeping Flagler Beach safe for the Turtles to nest sold us on this location.

Why Ocean Front Villa San Marcos?

Upon entering you will be impressed by the expansive ocean views and 20 ft ceilings. The open living concept includes foyer, dining kitchen, laundry and living room.

The main bedroom suite is located at the entrance level with spa like bathroom and whirlpool tub.
The main bedroom includes additional Queen bed and couch accommodations in the 350 Sq ft loft with a full bathroom.
The 2nd floor bedroom includes a full bathroom and balcony that overlooks the Atlantic.
The 2nd floor “ game room” can accommodate guests on two twi XL Comfy Sealy hybrid beds.
The numerous windows allow for ample sunlight and amazing oceanfront views from each room.
The large private 8 ft /3ft lighted pool overlooking the ocean situated off the kitchen is perfect for entertaining and simply relaxing.

It gives us pleasure to share this gem of a home to travelers wanting to relax and get away from it all!

Now is the time to make memories and enjoy the many activities that surround Flagler Beach. Our home is your home and we are happy that you chose Villa San Marco!
