IMPORTANT TO DETERMINE IF THIS IS THE RIGHT PROPERTY FOR YOU:
This house is on a block with old and new. You will see some run down homes and newly renovated homes. There is a corner store on the opposite corner of the property where neighbors tend to loiter. Some guests have felt uncomfortable with this. Some guests have not been comfortable with this area at night. Other guests have been perfectly fine with the environment. If you have lived in a major (ex NYC, SF, ATL, MIA) city before, this will be no surprise. If you are from elsewhere, we just want to make sure you feel safe here. We lived here with our young kids and felt safe but everyone is different!

The booking price includes both top and bottom units of the house. There are a total of 7 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. It is perfect for a family reunion, weddings, or groups looking for a space to share. The property will sleep a total of 16 in beds. The property has a large fenced in lot with space to enjoy outdoor eating.

The first floor contains 3 beds (all Queen beds) / 2 full bathrooms plus kitchen, living, and dining area. The design of the bottom floor is light and airy. It has been completely renovated down to the studs.

The second floor contains 4 beds (3 Queen + 1 Twin) / 1.5 baths plus kitchen, living, and dining area. The design of the top floor is consistent with historic charm.

We love historic Springfield which is located in Jacksonville adjacent to the downtown area. It is centrally located so that you can explore all Jacksonville has to offer. Springfield itself has 3 breweries, several local restaurants, and all the historic neighborhood charm.

There is a large park system called the Henry J. Klutho Park. This is a great park that has a children's playground, a dog park, frisbee golf course, baseball fields, and many others. There are views of downtown from this park so go have a picnic and enjoy the scenery.
