Myself, my husband and our 3 children had a wonderful week at this property in Sardinia.
The property is as described and as shown on the pictures. The pool was larger than it appears and, although unheated, was lovely to cool off in after a hot day sightseeing. There were some sun loungers, a lilo and beach umbrellas in the property to use. Although the inside of the property was a bit dated, it was clean and had everything we needed. Sergio and his family used the adjoining apartment, but only on our first and last days and were very friendly.
Costa Paradiso was beautiful and there were some shops (including supermarkets, butcher, green grocer, bakery, chemists) and restaurants on the resort, a few minutes drive away though - a car is needed. We spent most days at various beaches, the best nearby is Li Cossi which had some great snorkeling right off the beach.
We met Sergio at the start of our stay and he kindly gave us a map with beaches and supermarkets highlighted. Make sure you can access your emails for contact from Sergio - we couldn't initially and spent an anxious time waiting when we arrived, only for my phone to finally give me Sergio's email from 5 hours previously telling me where to find the key.
All in all, if you want a fancy apartment, matching crockery and air conditioning then this isn't for you, but if you want a villa with lots of beds (there were only 5 of us, but there were beds for 8), outside space, a great pool, sea view (in the distance, but it is there), friendly owners and in a beautiful area then this is it. (But bring mosquito spray - we compared bites every morning!)
