Excellent Place

This place was amazing! Location was fantastic. 7 of us stayed here comfortably. Place was clean and parking was great as well. Alan (host) gave us a tour of the place and couldn’t have been a better host. He recommended restaurants and places to see. Easily one of the top places we’ve stayed.

Worked for us but Host in unit

The property was clean, very well stocked and the location was perfect for us. It was a bit challenging to access the porch as the only access is thru one of the "bedrooms". We were surprised to find out at check-in that the host has a suite in the unit. VRBO advertises host free homes and this was a surprise to us as it's not in the listing. Alan was very respectful of our space and we did not run into him during our stay. He has indicated he will be updating his listing so this does not happen to others. Overall the property is very nice. Alan was quick to respond to all of our needs. Thank you Alan.

Pleasent Place with one unexpected item

The place was great, as advertised. What we weren't expecting was the owner of the property has a suite in the basement and stayed there while we were occupying. I didn't think VRBO allowed that.

Family visit to Edmonton

Alan was a wonderful host though I was not expecting to have him living on the premises, the listing did not make that clear. A couple of improvements would be less personal items, family photos and such and a booklet of house instructions rather than post it notes . The home was fully stocked for anything you might need and was very clean. It was convenient for us visiting family to the west and east of Edmonton.

Simply the Best

Amazing stay in a very well appointed, clean house with a wonderful owner!! This house has everything you need from a huge deck to hang out on, a hot tub, and lots of room (and beds). Check in and out process was flawless….kind of like the whole stay! Highly recommended! 5 Stars all the way!

Sister Reunion

My 3 sisters and I (from 4 different cities) had a wonderful long weekend here. We were able to reconnect after 4 years and this was the perfect location. We enjoyed the large living space and still each had our own bedroom when we needed quiet time — couldn’t have asked for more. Alan was a great host and made everything so easy. I would highly recommend this spot.

Weekend Stay

We stayed for two nights with 5 adults, 3 teens and 2 toddlers. More than enough room for everyone. Place was clean, homey and had everything we needed. Location was perfect, near everything we went to including a park for the kids. Clean as well. Host was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend for a family trip.

Excellent property and host

Easy to get just about anywhere in Edmonton. Beautiful home is stunning area. This property was the most well stocked in kitchen and bathrooms that we have ever rented. Host is very responsive. Highly recommend.

Wonderful home and host!

House was perfect for our short family vacation in Edmonton. The place was immaculate and it felt warm and friendly. Kitchen had everything we needed and it was a pleasure to cook and dine in the kitchen or on the deck. The 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms gave us lots of space to spread out and the living room and deck were great gathering places. Location was fantastic and our host Alan went above and beyond. Would recommend this house as a perfect place for a group or family to have a wonderful stay in Edmonton.

Gem of a Rental!

We rented this property for a girls weekend away. It slept all 4 of us comfortably, and could have slept more. The house and property have such an amazing character-the pictures in the listing do not do it justice! Everything was clean and well set up. There are directions and notes left for anything you may need. Alan was very quick to respond to any necessary questions, and was a wonderful host. It’s in a very nice, quiet neighborhood close to anywhere you may want to go ($15 Uber to whyte Ave, $10 to downtown). We loved our stay and will be back in the future!

Weekend with friends

This house is in one of the most elegant and a very historic area of Edmonton, and was an exquisite representation of such. The rich color of the hardwood floors throughout are not only breathtaking but very homey and comfotingingly earthy. The generosity of appointments and supplies was wonderful, even if not needed for the most part. One of the little things that was just fantastic was the multi-pack of spare toothbrushes in the main bathroom. This is a host that knows how to host! I do not have a single thing that I can think of to comment as a "con" on this listing,and am already speaking with friends on booking it again for our next group excursion to Edmonton.

I am the property owner , retired and a great tour guide having spent 50 years in Edmonton and area. Having been in business all my life I know all the wonderful experiences in Edmonton and Alberta.

I occupy a basement suite, totally separate from the main house with a private entrance to come and go. I am nearby to assist with any issues that may arise. My suite is fairly sound proof so guest noise is not an issue for me. The main house is totally guest space.

There are some private nooks in the house and many TVs.
You can be anywhere in the city within 25 minutes from my central area. The second story deck is a gem in the summer, shade, sun, partial roof and screened in. BBQ.
