Goose Island is known for its industrial history and is home to a number of manufacturing and distribution companies. However, in recent years, the area has also seen a growth in residential and commercial development, including loft-style apartments, trendy restaurants, and breweries.

Despite being an industrial area, Goose Island is still close to many of the attractions of the Near North Side, including the Magnificent Mile and River North's dining and nightlife scene. It's also conveniently located near public transportation options, making it easy to get around the city.

Here are a few popular destinations in the Goose Island neighborhood:

North Branch Chicago Riverwalk: A beautiful riverfront park with walking and biking paths, green spaces, and stunning views of the Chicago River.

Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder Company: A beloved local restaurant that serves up delicious pizza and sandwiches in a cozy, historic setting.

From Midway International Airport:
