Welcome to La Palapa! This charming 2 bedroom 1 bath home is a only a few steps from the Ocean Beach. This fully furnished home is a perfectly affordable retreat that will accommodate a family of 6! Your front door faces directly east so you can enjoy that cup of coffee in the morning watching a magnificent sunrise! The home has cable, high speed internet and a washer and dryer! According to all the surfing adventurists, this area is the best surfing within 100 miles! The home also has a water filtration system as well as a reverse osmosis system to purify the drinking water! Hurry down now to the Gulf Coast and then relax listening to the waves and having a great vacation playing on the beach!

Perfect location!

This house is a moments walk to the beach & it was absolutely perfect for us! There were a few items provided at the house that weren’t included on the listing, but I believe they were left by previous renters. The mosquitoes were terrible & relentless during our stay, at no fault of the owner. I saw mosquito spray I assumed had been used to treat the yard & we bought some too, to no avail. The deck & upper palapa were fantastic but we weren’t able to enjoy them as much as we would’ve liked due to the bugs. There was some dog hair mentioned in previous reviews. I would suggest adding a crockpot to the kitchen. The washer/dryer was a lifesaver with kiddos! Would stay again!

everything we needed was there and location was great beds were comfortable , needs updated patio furniture chairs worn out but worked for our stay definitely would stay again!

Empty Nester trip

We absolutely loved this place, John was more than helpful and communicated very well. We wanted a getaway after dropping off youngest son at college and it was the zen we needed. Beautiful east views, comfy king bed, roomy shower, cute decor and close walk to beach. At night we stayed under. condo grilling out and playing cornhole out of the wind it still beautiful water views.

Great place!!

The pictures do not really do it justice. The house is much prettier in person. Everything we needed was there. The picnic table on the big front balcony was great for eating outside. Enjoying the view. The beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again

Property was as described. Cozy and comfortable, not pretenious or run down. Location worked for us and what we wanted to experience. Amenities worked for us, simple, nothing fancy. First time renting a house, turned out to be a pleasurableexperience

Good Location

Property was very close to beach. Beds were comfortable. We did have dog hair on our clothes after using the blankets. A few of our kids toys rolled under furniture and came out covered in dog hair. Had trouble with door code when we arrived, it was resolved with a few phone calls. Awesome deck space but the patio furniture is a bit lacking.

Surfside Vacation at 1206 Sargasso Circle End of June

This rental was great! Very cozy, but plenty of room for our family of 4. A big thanks to John for any assistance needed and he was very accommodating. If we return in the future, we will try and book again! It is an extremely easy walk to the beach which was very clean and is off limits to vehicles. There is a Circle K gas station just down the road with anything you might need or have forgotten. The Seahorse Bar and Grill was also very close to this rental which is was great! You will not be disappointed in this rental!

Excellent Fishing Getaway

We booked this place for close access to the jetty for some casual fishing for the weekend. The property was perfect -- I loved the upper deck but was unable to really enjoy it because of some pesky mosquitos, I'm not sure if they're seasonal but it may be worth bringing bug spray just in case! Luckily, mosquitos are weak flyers so they didn't bother us when we were fishing thanks to the wind from being near the water & they obviously didn't impact how comfortable we were inside the house. All in all, this place is a gem & I can see myself coming back sometime. :)

Great Location

Properry has a great location and easy to find. The check-in process was also super easy. House was clean, beds are comfy, and kitchen had everything we need. The kids loved the fenced in turf area with sand play table and picnic table as well as the kiddie slide off the deck. Morning views from the Crows Nest where incredible. Overall wonderful stay, no complaints.

Cute and close to the beach

Solid property, spot on location, and some little extras (hot tub) Parking was good and only a stones throw from the beach, super amazing! Wish the place was a tad bit cleaner for what you pay.
