The entire midcentury modern home on a quarter acre lot is available for use. MoSa's open layout, large windows and sliding doors blur the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces. Our home has been described as resort-like, yet intimate, luxurious, comfortable, and with great energy. There are ample cozy spaces for your own quiet time, and also areas for communal interaction. You can enjoy lounging indoors as much as you can enjoy the outdoor shower, outdoor fire pit, outdoor dining, Weber natural gas BBQ grill, extravagant (newly built) saltwater pool, hot tub and more!

• Has 1 King high density memory foam bed, and a private ensuite bathroom (with a luxurious rain shower and two additional shower heads).

Guest access
The entire home is accessible to our Guests, except for the garage, where the Owners store their personal belongings. Laundry room is available for use; due to different sensitivities, Guests must bring own cleaning products.

PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING:

• This is not a party house; Palm Springs noise ordinances are STRICTLY ENFORCED.
- If you receive a citation for any reason, in addition to paying their $1000 fine, we will also charge you $1000. We will also ask you to leave the property with no refund for any remaining days. Per VRBO policy, by including these conditions in our listing, they will support these penalties.

• Parking is limited to two vehicles; Guests can park on semi-circular driveway.

• Maximum overnight guests: 4, this is also STRICTLY ENFORCED.

• No unauthorized guests may be on property without express written consent.

• No rentals to anyone under 25 years of age.

• City of Palm Springs requires "City of Palm Springs Vacation Rental Rules & Regulations" form to be completed by primary Guest, signed by all guests, and for a copy of the primary Guest's Driver's License to be emailed to host.

• This is a non-smoking home.

• Only acrylic/plastic tableware (cups and plates) are to be used in the backyard. NO GLASS (beer bottles, wine glasses, glass water bottles, etc) ALLOWED -- this is STRICTLY ENFORCED.

• Children must be supervised at all times.

• Required pool and spa heating/use available at $65 per day from the months of November to May. This extra payment will be charged as an extra service and must be paid in full before check-in.

• Cleaning fee: $325. This fee will be charged as an extra service and will be paid in full before check-in. If staying for a longer time and extra cleanings are desired, we can arrange for it and you will be charged per cleaning as an extra service as well. Please note that due to Covid-19, we follow strict protocols as mandated by CDC, VRBO and the state of CA.

• Please note that cleaning fee does not include dirty dishes, and cooking utensils. Guests agree to keep the house, furniture, and furnishings in good order, in the condition it was received. Cleaning products and equipment are available as needed.

• Check-out is strictly at 11am for cleaning crew to begin the enhanced cleaning protocol; $250/hour late fee will be charged for delayed check-out without express written permission. Refer to Vacation Rental Agreement for more details.

• "You break, you buy." The home has been specially curated with one-of-a-kind, vintage items. If they are damaged or missing, they cannot be replaced. Contact host to provide any details of damage to minimize penalty. Refundable Security deposit required: $1500 must be paid in full before check-in, and deposit returned by VRBO after 14 days when no damage or missing items is found.

• Palm Springs International Airport is less than 2 miles away; occasional airplane noise overhead.

• Vacation Property Rental Agreement must be completed and signed prior to occupancy.

• All stays under 29 days are subject to City of Palm Springs Occupancy Tax of 11.5% (Our TOT Permit # is PS 7742 / City ID# 4571). This tax is NOT included in the nightly rate, but will be charged as an extra service through VRBO.

• Beginning July 1, 2021, all stays under 28 days are also subject to the Greater Palm Springs Tourism & Business Bureau (CVB) 1% TBID (Tourism Board Improvement District) assessment, which will be charged through VRBO.

• Rates are higher for holidays, weekends, special events and during high season. Required minimum stay for all special events & holidays, depending on the event -- please check with us. Weekend rentals must include both Friday and Saturday nights.

• PHOTO SHOOTS come with a location fee, and require a location monitor, also no extra people allowed on the property beyond what the city allows. If you want a photo shoot, we have to arrange in advance.

• COACHELLA 5 night minimum. DESERT TRIP, MODERNISM WEEKS: 5 night minimum.

• Stays of 1 month and over, require payment of actual utility charges.

• No pets allowed.

• Please note that if Guests leave any belongings behind and need to coordinate delivery item(s) back to the owner, there will be a $100 charge for this service plus expense of shipping item(s).

Incredible 5 Star Treatment
Jacqueline was the light during an intense work week onsite at Coachella. The communication was impeccable, the house was stunning and so comfortable -- I felt right at home. The delightful shower and cozy bed were the refuge I needed after long, hot, and dusty days in the desert. I would love to come back for a vacation next time, as this spot would be ideal for lounging by the pool and cooking elaborate meals with loved ones. I highly recommend staying at MoSa!

We may be new to Vrbo, but we have been a Superhost on Airbnb less than 3 months after we launched our home as a short-term rental about a year ago! We go above and beyond to consider details for the comfort and convenience of our guests while also keeping in mind sustainable lifestyle choices that benefit our planet! Jacqueline is an incredible host and the home is filled with thoughtful touches. Our guests, including ourselves, don't ever want to leave!

But if you do, the supermarket is 1 min away; downtown Palm Springs is only 6 minutes away; and a few of our favorite eats are also a few mins away from MoSa. It's perfectly located to everything you want access to, yet feels private and secluded for an enjoyable, luxurious stay. This is a beautiful mid-century modern home with vintage details but modern amenities for your complete enjoyment!
