The River House is a cozy 2 bedroom with king-size beds. A large loft (2nd bedroom) that also has a king-size bed (can be separated into 2 twin beds) that has an office work space. Full-size bathroom with washer/dryer. Open concept kitchen/living common area fully stocked with all utensils, pots & pan, etc. Full size refrigerator, stove, and microwave.
Large deck is covered with a table and chairs as well as large propane (propane provided for extra fee. MUST MAKE REQUEST or bring your own propane) grill. There is a wood/charcoal (charcoal not provided) grill/smoker downstairs that can be used.
Access to the river to float, fish, or kayak. Fire pit is near the river for a nice peaceful evening roast.
**Life jackets and floats highly recommended.

Memorial Weekend

We enjoyed staying at this cabin. Very cute, well stocked. Host was very helpful. Enjoyed kayaking and just resting in the shade watching the river and wildlife.

So much fun!

This place has it all! It’s so peaceful and beautiful. My children loved kayaking and floating down the river. The house itself was fully stocked. We didn’t need to bring anything but food and ourselves. Such an enjoyable experience ❤️ we will definitely be coming back!

Great cabin

We had a great time staying at this cabin. The place was stocked well and almost felt like home. Back deck was very comfortable and had a great view of the river. Lots of cardinals and deer! The river was a great place to cool off in after being out in the Texas heat. Didn’t get a chance to golf, but had a few beers at the clubhouse with the locals. Everyone in the community was very friendly. We will definitely stay here again. Great host communication made this stay one of best yet. Thank you for a great stay!!

Very cute place to hang out!

The owners were very easy to contact and check in and out went smoothly. We came to fish, float and relax. The river was down but you can walk across to the deeper side. I wish there was easier access to the water. I was unable to get in the water as I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to get back up the slope due to physical limitations. I am sure it’s easier when the waters up. The house is adorable and very comfy! You won’t be able to call out but texting works. My daughter in law had to work half a day after arriving and the desk upstairs came in handy! It was a great weekend!

Birthday stay

Our original plan was for my wife and I to go up to Parker County to celebrate my birthday. Two days before our scheduled stay she came down with Covid. Since it was too close to the rental start date, we weren't able to cancel. I had isolated from her the week before, so I went by myself. This place was great. Even though it was really hot this weekend, I did get to sit out on the deck (overlooking the Brazos River) during the morning hours. The cabin was exceptionally well stocked. Other than food I wanted to cook and some adult beverages, I didn't need anything. The only issue I had was with the bathroom sink stopper. I was able to get it closed, while I shaved, but couldn't get it back open, when I was through. We'll definitely come back to this place!!

Great river retreat

The home is adorable and clean, and the location is great on Horsehoe Bend. All the outdoor space is great for entertaining friends. Would definitely recommend and stay again. One thing to note is if you're planning on boating, check water levels. The bend was a bit low for us to get our boat to the property, but we still absolutely loved our stay.

Zu Gast bei Kerri M Beavers

We are 2 people who love to travel. We have 4 grown kids plus 10 grandkids. We built the river house to make memories with family and friends. As we travel abroad we have decided to offer up our river house to those like minded.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

The river house is a river front cabin. Within our community there is a nice 9 hole golf course and local club house (bar) that can be used for a small fee at the club house.
There is a store for basic needs. HSB is a golf cart community for easy access to get around. Fishing, kayaking, swimming and floating the river is at our back door.
We are on the river so we share it with all kinds. Its a bit sandy and the there are all kinds of animals and bugs like minded that love our cabin as much as we do.
