Not As Advertised

Deplorable neighborhood and certainly would not be comfortable walking anywhere! Shabby furnishings and musty smell. This place is definitely not as described! We walked in and left immediately! We contacted the owner via phone and VRBO messaging and never received a response! This rental is well below VRBO standards!

Much better than a hotel!

Our stay at the apartment met all of our needs. We were comfortable inside and outside the apartment. Pet friendly neighborhood. Location allowed us easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. We would stay at this apartment again.

Super Clean and Centrally Located

This place was absolutely spotless. The twin cot slept amazingly well. Great location near shops and interstate. All amenities were available. Pictures are exactly as you get. We could not have been happier with it.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. I did not care how secluded it was at night. The directions were accurate but should also state that you should drive around back. The place was furnished nicely.

Neat lil apartment close to shops and downtown

Came in for the October festival Friday and Saturday. Location was close to where we wanted to be. Neighbor hood is older but quaint as well as quiet.

Very nice place. Clean and boat was easily to communicate with. We came for granddaughters baby shower and we were happy to be back in the area we love so much. Hopefully you will have one available for us when she gives birth in August. Thank you.

Very Clean

The apartment was very quiet. The neighbors I met were all friendly. As a single female senior citizen, I felt safe. My cousin has lived in Cullman her entire life visited and commented to me how nice the place was. It was very hot the day I arrived. I really loved the AC. It was on and the house was nice, cool and comfortable. The really extra touch was the bowl with snacks and cold water in the frig. My next visit to Cullman I'm in hopes of being able to stay here again.

Overall the VRBO was okay. Several things in disrepair but nothing critical. Ample space in unit. Not in best section of town but not too bad - don't think any danger. Had a little trouble getting in - messaged the owner who apparently did something or maybe I just was persistent but did get in after about 30 minutes.Only aggravation I have is that there's no way to contact the owner other than VRBO messaging. - would have been nice to have a cell phone number to contact.

Weekend Get Away

We came to Cullman, because it was my wife’s birthday . Had a great time, the weather put a damper on 1 day , but we had a good time. The apartment was great but missing a stove, might consider getting one , could get a better rate for the apartment . Thanks Bill and Lydia .

Disappointed This Go Around

We stayed at this VBRO last year and it was super nice. This year the property was a bit run down. There was crumbs on the couch. I had to clean it before sitting on it. The bathroom mat was soaked. I assume it was from the people that had checked out that morning. Things weren’t restocked. We had no towels. The Keuric machine didn’t work. We let them know and they never responded. Well, they did to the first one and said they would fix it or change it out and brought towels. I sent several messages to them and had no response. I am one I want my coffee when I get up. The VBRO area is in a quiet area.

Comfortable and Clean Apartment

The apartment was comfortable and clean. The owner was good to communicate with and check in was smooth and easy. The only negative was that the apartment was located in a very run down and deteriorating area of the town. A bit scary at first, but we had no scares or other complaints!

Nice One Bedroom

This place had everything I needed. I can tell the owners had comfort and hospitality in mind. Lots of nice amenities from the big TV to the Memory Foam mattress. Very clean unit. Walls are a little thin and had a slight delay on a functional entry code. However, this was a perfect place for my needs.

Jay’s place is exactly as pictured. In fact it is larger than it looks. It had everything I needed for my stay. Park right at the front door and walk in. No steps, which is great. Will be staying again soon.

Review

The mattress was one of the worst I’ve ever slept on. it severely slanted downhill and felt like you were holding on for dear life all night plus the head board was not connected and the bed creaked loudly every time you moved. There were no outlets easily accessible by the bedside which is very inconvenient.The tub was old and chipped and the plastic curtains touched you the whole shower. There was no bugs which I was thankful for. Location was convenient. Price was good.

Super clean and cozy. Perfect stay for my wife and our little dog. Conveniently located between Huntsville and Birmingham which provided and opportunity to be in between both in a very quiet neighborhood. Neighbors were friendly and DEFINITELY not the same chaotic stay as a hotel would be. Amenities such as snacks and bottled water was an appreciation more than an amenity. Definitely would recommend this place and Me. Jay to anyone who’s heading that way and would love to know what other properties might be available outside of Alabama !!!!
