The Most Amazing View of the Beach!! The name fits the place because your so close to the beach and waking up is absolutely the best. Cozy 1 Bedroom with beautiful updates to make you feel nice & cozy. We created small touches of the beachy vibe. A kitchen table nook to sit with friends & family to have a nice breakfast or lunch and even play card games. ; ) Nice cozy sofa to relax after a long day at the beach. In living area is a Big 50 inch HDTV!! The Kitchen has a beautiful backsplash with small shells to enjoy while cooking a nice home meal for family. The bedroom is the coziest with redesigned headboard made from old shutters with lights built in and outlet to plug your phone into. It's Simply one of a kind and you will love it. Nice and soft cozy bed & pillows to lay and relax and read a good book. We included a nice 45 inch tv to watch your favorite shows. The best of everything is the Porch which has the most amazing feeling of all..The breeze from the Gulf with Birds flying in the sky and waves hitting the shore as you watch it all while sipping on your favorite drink. Beautiful view from our balcony

The living room and dining furniture were very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. We were never able to get connected to cable to watch our favorite tv shows. We returned one day and found our unit was very hot with no air conditioning. We investigated and found the control which said the batteries were low, so we went out and purchased some.

We loved our stay. The location is great with easy access to the beach. Close to restaurants and things to do. When I sent messages, I got a response right away. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Very small and showing age/use

View from the deck windows is nice, but the door to the deck was stuck and wouldn’t open, the microwave worked only sometimes, there was no place to put luggage and no place to unpack our clothes. There was a chest in the bedroom but it was full of stuff except for one shallow drawer on top. Couldn’t unpack and had to keep suitcases in the living area and go back and forth from bedroom and bathroom to get clothes. The owner contacted us and wanted us to be there at 5 o’clock on our first day, so the housekeeper could pickup linens or we could leave a key for her. We were very busy and couldn’t meet at that time and were not comfortable letting someone in while we were not there. In addition, we didn’t appreciate being expected to drop what we were doing to meet their needs. If something needed to be picked up, it should have been picked up before we got there. There were 2 hair dryers, one very dirty and one that would go from very hot to cold. I was afraid it was going to short out. The resort is showing age and use.

Everything was as listed about the property, it was nice and clean, nice view of the beach from the patio, the property had everything you need to enjoy the beach, me and my husband both agreed that we will be booking to stay again.

Clean and comfortable

My daughter and I stayed here over the Easter weekend, the view was great, bed was comfortable, and the unit was very clean. Nice to stay in Galveston and not have to cross the street to access the beach!

The view is amazing! The unit was clean & had all needed necessities. Nice warm pool, hot tubs, & kiddie pool were enjoyed. Easy beach access. Host was very quick to reply. Kids loved the bunk beds. Remember to bring quarters for the laundry room, there was no change machine. While reviewing stays in the Galveston area, I was wanting a place on the beach due to having children & not wanting to cross traffic to play at the beach, this place is right on the beach w/easy access.

Salty Sea Wishes

This condo is well kept and well appointed with everything you will need, from TP, coffee filters & coffee, to beach toys, beach towels and beach chairs. The only thing that I might have wanted would be a folding drying rack for the towels since you can't hang anything outside. The kids loved the bunk bed nook that had its own little shelf with fan, outlet and light switch. The beds were comfortable. We had a lovely vacation and enjoyed our stay very much. Perfect Spring Break Getaway

We had a wonderful time at this property. The location is perfect, right on the beach just west of the seawall, unlike other Galveston locations where you have to cross a busy highway for beach access. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed for the beach and pool. Our kids loved playing with the sand toys. Also it was great to have a life jacket to use for our youngest. The condo is decorated with a cute beach theme and our boys had a blast in the bunk beds. The pool was warm and not too busy during our stay. The hosts were awesome and very helpful.

Seascape Salty Sea Wishes stay

Condo was right on the beach and looked over the water-very nice! There was construction (loud) in the parking lot Thursday-Friday. Wish I'd known that before I booked this location; but, it was gone on the weekend. There were small issues like crumbs in the kitchen drawers and floors, that need to be addressed. If they were, would I stay here again? Yes, I would.

3 day getaway.

My wife and I spent a 3 day weekend in Galveston. Salty Sea Wishes is a really great place to relax and take the beach in. Beach front is really nice, the property has pool and hot tub and security. The host GiGi was very responsive. Condo is exceptionally clean and comfortable. View from the balcony and beach access was nice. Everything was provided, there is a beach cart, folding chairs and a soft cooler for beach use. Love the community and western end of the island. Security on property was a comforting perk. Next time in Galveston will be here again, hopefully longer than 3 days.

Great Location

My wife and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary traveling in Texas and we spent 3 days and 4 four nights in Galveston. The pics of this condo and property match exactly as it was in person. The condo is cozy with a great decorative beach theme. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony drinking coffee, listening to the waves and taking in the amazing view. It is definitely a great view to watch a sunrise and sunset. Direct access to the beach is another amazing feature of this property and something to consider when looking to stay down here, since a majority of the rentals require crossing a busy 4 lane road or paying for parking to go on the beach. The hosts were excellent! They provided everything we needed and stayed in touch the entire time to make sure our needs were met! In summary, beach access, amazing views, a great condo to relax in, a town with tons of things to do and top notch hosts that own this condo! You can’t go wrong booking a vacation here!

The Perfect Beach Getaway!

Truly an amazing place. It was super clean and had everything we could have needed. All the furniture was very comfortable including the high patio chairs with pillows. The view from the balcony was beautiful and we spent a lot of time sitting and listening to the waves coming in. Parking was plentiful and easy. We enjoyed the pool and cute swing benches, and the easy access to the beach was great! They provide beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, toys and a wagon to bring it all to the beach. This place is fabulous and we hope to book it again soon!

Beach gear included

There are beach toys, boogie bds, a blanket, umbrella, & chairs all at the unit in the clost and on the balconey so you do not need to buy or bring any! Check in with the guard at 3:00pm, he was a no show and did not answer his phone. We went to the room and he answered his phone at 3:30pm. I had to immediately go back to the guard shack wher ethere were 6 cars waiting to check in. It all worked out, but appears he was late. The VRBO manager answered my calls and promptley returned my messages with questions. It was a great stay!
