First I want to start by saying that the property manager was very kind and extremely quick to respond. A lot of places had a 1 pet minimum w/high pet fees, and this place was nice enough to let us bring both of our small dogs at no additional cost which I was extremely pleased with. They provided clean towels (that were very rough and thick, but clean nonetheless) and even free toiletries which was a nice added bonus.
Those were all the good things.
The bad:
Driving to the property it seemed to be a great area but as we got a few streets away it turned into a very poor looking, rundown, crappy neighborhood. Broken down houses and all that. We got nervous. Then we arrive. It's not a tiny house. It was a tool shed that someone cleaned up, put a bed in, added an air conditioner, and built a shower connected to the side of the shed. Immediately we regretted our decision to stay here, but we we only needed a place to stay for 1 night so I'm just thankful we didn't pay for a longer stay.
The bed was crooked & uncomfortable, like one side of it was higher than the other side so I had to sleep on the higher side & try not to fall inward on my husband lol. The outside of the property was dirty, chairs were filthy, and I felt like we paid $140 to experience the poor side of life for 1 night which is saying a lot since we aren't rich & live in a small apartment ourselves. It's just not what you think it'll be.
Summary: I really appreciated the owner's customer service & kindness, which is why I gave it 2 stars but the tiny house & property itself is a negative 10 stars, which I'm sorry to report. Your best bet is finding another place unless the experience I shared is what you're looking for lol.
