Willkommen in unserer gemütlichen 2-Zimmer-Hütte, nur 10 Meilen vom Südeingang von Yosemite entfernt. Die Kabine ist sehr schön mit einem ganzjährigen Bach direkt vor Ihrer Hintertür. Wanderwege und Wasserfälle sind nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Dies ist ein einzigartiges Mietobjekt in einer wunderschönen Umgebung. Genießen Sie die Einsamkeit der Natur, nur wenige Schritte von der Hütte entfernt. Ich würde gerne mein kleines Stück Himmel mit Ihnen teilen!

Dies ist ein einzigartiges Grundstück mit fast einem Hektar Land mit einem ganzjährigen Bach (Lewis Creek) und Sequoia-Bäumen. Auf dem Grundstück gibt es auch mehrere Obstbäume. Bitte respektieren Sie die ruhige Natur. Keine lauten Partys erlaubt. In seltenen Fällen teilen sich Wohnmobile die Unterkunft (max. 4). Das Grundstück ist groß genug, so dass viel Privatsphäre besteht.

Die Hütte ist rustikal, einfach und gemütlich. Als älteres Gebäude hat es einen gewissen Charme. Der Kaminofen dient als Herd und liegt zentral im Haus. Bitte bringen Sie Feuerholz (Duraflame für die Leichtigkeit) mit, da dies Ihre Hauptwärmequelle ist. Die Küche wird für die meisten Ihrer Kochbedürfnisse bestückt. Es gibt viele VHS-Videos zur Auswahl. Brettspiele und Bücher stehen den Gästen zur Verfügung.

Great stay and trip to Yosemite!

We had a great stay and it was nice to relax after a lot of hiking. We even did the recommended Lewis Creek hike nearby on our last day and really enjoyed it! My only comment on room for improvement would be a new couch.

Amazing Getaway For a Tranquil Vacation

Been wanting to plan a relaxing getaway for a while. So glad I found this spot. About 18 mins north of town, nestled up and away, and by away, I mean away! Lights out to pictch black (can't see your hands in front of your face dark). But it makes the stars shine even brighter and more vivid than I've ever seen them. The cabin was so quaint and cozy. The stream behind it was so beautiful and to hear it with the windows open was very relaxing. Enjoyed the welcoming and hospitality left awaiting our arrival. Enjoyed the town, enjoyed the local hike, took a day trip to Yosemite (only 1 hr and 20 mins to the Valley Floor), moonlight dinner and train ride (Sugar Pine)-a must do! Partner and I got everything we wanted out of this vacation and are looking to book again for a different season of the year to do it all over again. Thank you again to amln amazing experience.

A lovely, serene home away from home.

This was a beautiful cabin with all the necessities in place. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. And as a bonus, there was a little, lab puppy to welcome us home each night. I will rent this cabin again when I visit Yosemite again. One visit to this gorgeous National Park is simply not enough!

Lovely safe space to sleep while adventuring.

Property was clean, cozy, and well stocked. Manager was very reponsive when an issue arose. We highly enjoyed the puzzles available. Great place to crash between adventures. Lewis falls trail was a challenge and a blast. Thanks for everything!!

We loved this cabin!

This Cabin was a cozy place to stay and go visit Yosemite and Oakhurst area. I would definitely recommended it and I would stay here again. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and it had mostly everything we needed. We didn't find a lighter to light the wood stove(we got one at the store which is only a few minutes away) and the water filter had gone missing from the people staying before us. The host said we could buy a filter in town and she would reimburse me since the one she order from amazon hadn't arrived yet although we just purchased bottle water to drink. The host was very nice, helpful and I very much appreciated her helpful information about the area and things to do and see.

Cozy creekside cabin

Stayed here while we explored Yosemite. Nice adventure close by, clean aside from most all the cooking-ware. Shower is nice and hot/good pressure. Quiet.

Cabin by the creek

Great little cabin on the edge of the Sierra National Forest and close to Yosemite. Very clean and comfortable. I would recommend and book again. Plenty of room, very quiet, gorgeous scenery and very close to the creek.

Best Creekside Cabin for a family Just outside Yosemite

All Amenities were available including a complete kitchen. Back of the property is an easily accessible creek with abundance of water and the wilderness of the Sierra National Forest. Vina and Laura provided clear instructions on how to get there, how to use the amenities and what to carry. Highly recommend.

Great base camp

This is a little gem of a place...just a short trip to the south entrance of Yosemite and not to far away from town...the cabin was cozy, clean and well appointed with all the necessities for a great stay. We stayed for 2 nights and it was perfect - the kitchen was well stocked with all the needed equipment for cooking...the surrounding area was quiet and although there is no cell reception (blessing is disguise really) the wifi worked well. While we spent the majority of our time in the park, the cabin was a great place to come back to and just chill and relax - it didn't cold enough in the evenings to fire up the wood burning stove (kinda wish it had). Overall this is a definite place we'll book again on our next visit to the park. Thanks Vina!

Beautiful house in rural Oakhurst!

Had a great stay at Vina's place! So appreciated the cleanliness - thanks, Laura! - and the touches Vina added inside - welcome note, and blankets and hooks galore, among other things! Vina also recommended a nearby hike walkable from the place that was beautiful! Also very close to the South Yosemite entrance and Mariposa Grove, which is one of the highlights of Yosemite. This was a wonderful place from which to explore Yosemite and come home and relax in afterwards. Thanks, Vina and Laura!

Peace and quiet

After the nuttiness that was our trip to Yosemite (amazing, but too many people and really stupid traffic), it was wonderful to relax in our own creekside cabin. Highly recommend.

Amazing rustic cabin

I stayed here with my dad for his first time to Yosemite. Love the feel of this cabin. Everything you might need, nothing more. 20 mins from the South Gate to the park. Would be perfect for 2 couples as there are 2 bedrooms.

It's a nice spot for a getaway! If you're looking for a place to disconnect (but that also has good wifi) and is close enough to town and Yosemite, this is a great option.

Wonderful Relaxing Getaway

We had a wonderful, relaxing, fun, adventure filled getaway! The cabin was exceptionally clean, cozy, and equipped with all the kitchen essentials to make a warm meal after our Yosemite and Oakhurst Adventures! Great location! Close drive to Bass Lake, Lewis Creek Trail where we enjoyed the Fall Colors leaves & the Snow/Fall Colors in Yosemite was Amazing!! Overall we had an Amazing Stay and our pups loved it too! The Creek behind the cabin is so peaceful, & beautiful! We will definitely be back in the Spring :) Thank you Vina and Laura

Wonderfully Quiet and Relaxing

Very cute cabin! Perfect space for my husband and I and our pup. We stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful time! The neighborhood is quiet, relaxing, and we took several walks/hikes in the surrounding area. There is no cell phone service (which is great!) but if you think you might to contact the owner, bring your laptop/tablet/ipad and she will respond very quickly. (she actually emailed me our 1st night to make sure all was well). Yosemite, Bass Lake and the Sugar Pine RR are each a short ride away and the cabin is conveniently located to all. We would definitely book here again!

Nice little cottage

Nice little cottage close to Yosemite where we were spending our days. Also close to the little town where we could get groceries and with restaurants. A few little hitches with getting the heat/cool pump for some heat. It's not the flame mode as they said, that's actually water drops for humidity, it's the sun mode that makes heat. A little googling fixed that. Missed the cookies sheets or pizza pan that is at most other houses we've stayed in but otherwise worked perfect for us. Would definitely stay there again!!

Lovely cabin stay

Our family of 5 loved our stay in this sweet little cabin near Yosemite with one of the most responsive, communicative hosts we've ever had through VRBO! Though not a big place, it suited our needs just fine and was a great place to relax after our days spent in Yosemite. Though the drive to the Valley is a little long, it's absolutely gorgeous! Loved having the windows open & listening to the sound of the creek right out back - We would definitely stay here again.

Simple Living

The property had what we needed. Close proximity to great hiking, comfy beds for everyone, and it was clean. It has it's quirks. . . but the best things always do. It was a beautiful location and a great getaway for a reasonable price. Only suggestion I have it more towels please :-)

I live in beautiful Ojai just north of Los Angeles, California. I am a small business owner (Sol Haus Design), an outdoor enthusiast, and love simplicity as a way of life. An interesting thing about me is that I've lived in a tiny house for over 6 years, which I designed and built. You may have seen me and my tiny house on TV and media publications. I love climbing, hiking, snowboarding and yoga. I also deeply enjoy travel, architecture, and design.

This cozy 2br cabin is located just 10 miles to the South Entrance to Yosemite. The cabin setting is lovely with a year round creek right outside your back door. Hiking trails and waterfalls are just minutes away. This is a one of a kind rental with gorgeous surroundings.

The location is ideal for many reasons. It's very close to nature and solitude, yet you're also close to the conveniences of a small town in Oakhurst: grocery stores, outdoor gear, and wi-fi!

There's so much to do around the property and surrounding areas: creeks, waterfalls, hikes, and Bass Lake. Fresno Dome area is just 30 minutes away with spectacular hiking, waterfalls, and Sequoia/redwood groves. For rock climbing, Shuteye and Fresno Dome are great alternatives to Yosemite.
