Great house, great location

This property was an excellent place for us to stay and unwind while visiting family in the Vancouver area. The owners were friendly and very accommodating to us during our stay. We enjoyed the house and all the area had to offer. If you don’t need to be in the heart of the city and enjoy the quietness this location offers, then stay here. Would stay here again

Beautiful oasis outside of Vancouver

The home was spacious and beautifully decorated. Lovely location outside of Vancouver. There is a lake across the street and amazing scenery on the trails nearby. The host family was very solicitous regarding our needs and was super helpful in providing recommendations on activities to do and places to go nearby. Highly recommend. I think it probably spoiled us by setting our expectations too high for future accommodations where we'll be staying on this trip!

Girls Weekend 2023

The home, the location and the hosts were fantastic! It was a lovely place to relax and reconnect with childhood girl friends for the first time in 15 years. A couple of things we did not know was that the hosts were on site and the home was shared with a young family so we could often hear children running around and playing. This was not a problem for us at all, the hosts were kind and helpful, but it was not mentioned in the listing. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a luxury getaway.

Amazing Stay in Belcarra

Wow! Just stop searching, this is your place! My family and I stayed here before a cruise out of Vancouver. The pictures don't do it justice, this place is incredible! 4 very comfortable bedrooms with a large spacious family room and open kitchen. There is a beautiful lake and hiking trail across the street. We particularly enjoyed using the fireplace. The house came fully stocked with everything you need including firewood, linens, and cooking appliances. Margie is very helpful and accommodating with anything that you need. Book this house!

Run away!

This was the worst short-term rental stay I ever had. The owner provided neither Check-in nor Check-out instructions. The lock NEVER worked despite multiple messages. So, every day, we had to leave the house unlocked, or be locked out. -There were no towels in the downstairs bathroom -Why dilute the hand soap so it sprays on you? It's not expensive. -A kitchen should be well equipped--especially one of this size. Shouldn't have to improvise to make it work. There were enough plates and cutlery for 4 people. -There were no paper towels, sponge, napkins, or cutting board (the host did drop of paper towels after we requested) - Total lack of knives to prep food, drinking glasses that are childproof-not only wine glasses -there were dirty towels and a dirty drying rack in the kitchen -stairs should be vacuumed, -No instructions on either TV/sound system The bathrooms don't have trash cans under the sink. Bathrooms should have toilet brushes. Air freshener, butt wipes, a safety kit would be reassuring. We love going to short-term rentals that have travel-sized things in case we forget to pack something. Even leaving some hairspray, earplugs, and lotion is really nice. It's that little bit of extra that we love. Like any business you want to cater to your client if you want to excel. I honestly would not come back right now. What we did love- the backyard was great for the kids!! The beds are very comfortable.
