2 Bedroom Beautiful Terrace Home Located Close to Brighton City Centre.
‘The Preston’ is a beautiful Victorian style terraced holiday let home located in Brighton close to the city centre. Preston Park station is located at the end of the road with regular trains to Brighton taking only 4 short minutes. There are also city links to London taking approximately 1 hour.
The City of Brighton is often referred to as eclectic, cosmopolitan, and ‘artsy’, the perfect place for a getaway!
Brighton has maintained its popular destination city status for many years drawing visitors from across the country. Brighton is world famous for its long, pebbled beach, frequented by locals year round and popular amongst visitors during the hot summer months. Visitors can have set up a chair on the beach or take the kids along Brighton Pier for an afternoon filled with attractions.
In town, another of Brightons famous spots are the lanes. As you meander your way through the narrow streets you will notice that the North lanes are bright, effervescent and quirky. There is an eclectic mix of boutiques selling clothing, antiques and vintage goods, restaurants, known for providing vegan/vegetarian staples and a number of great pubs scattered along the way. The South Lanes are more discreet in their appearance and more maze like in their location. They comprise a number of antique jewellery shops, quaint tea rooms and excellent restaurants gathered along the winding alleyways.
Walking East from the South Lanes, you will eventually come across the Royal Pavilion. Originally built as a pleasure palace for King George IV, the Royal Pavilion is now a famous Landmark in Brighton’s City Centre. The palace was built in 1780 and was extended in 1815 to the Royal Pavilion that stands today.
‘The Preston’ home has period features throughout. The ground floor consists of the living and dining rooms featuring hardwood floors, decorative fireplaces and a large bay window with the large kitchen in the back. The kitchen leads outside to a staircase to the private hilltop garden space.
The first floor consists of one bedroom with its own unique period features. The master bedroom has a large bay window allowing for a beautiful flow of natural light throughout the room. There is a shared bathroom with a walk in shower on the same level. The stairs in the hallway lead to the third floor with great views of Brightons landscape from the rooftop velux windows. There is an en suite bath attached with separate bath and shower.
Outside is a small patio with stairs leading up to the garden space. There is large built in U Shaped seating surounding a fire pit for guests to enjoy on colder evenings. A BBQ grill is provided for guest use here too!
