Our self-contained, private and modern two-bedroom unit is located in the charming town of Gruyere in the Yarra Valley. The property features a family run working horse stable. Wake up to the sounds of horses neighing and the sight of them running in the paddocks over a coffee on the patio.

Gruyere is just 60 minutes outside of Melbourne and is the home to some of the most iconic wines of the Yarra Valley, making it the perfect destination for wine lovers. Nearby wineries include Killara Estate, Yarra Yerring, Squitchy Lane and Soumah just to name a few!

If you are a bike riding enthusiast or simply love a serene country side walk, then the Warburton Rail Trail is simply a must and is conveniently located right next to the property.

Our property is a perfect base for exploring the Yarra Valley's many attractions, including the Yarra Valley Dairy, the TarraWarra Museum of Art, and the Healesville Sanctuary. You can also explore the local markets, take a hot air balloon ride, or simply relax and unwind in the comfort of our luxurious accommodation.

Yarra Valley Stables Retreat is a beautiful property situated on working horse stables and equine sheds. The owners of the property live on-site, and we kindly ask that their right to privacy and operation of the property is respected at all times. We strive to make your stay as wonderful and welcoming as possible.

To ensure your security, safety, and enjoyment of the property, we kindly ask that you follow the rules and guidelines listed below when booking with us:

- The number of guests is limited to the booked house accommodation.

- Unfortunately, no pets of any kind are permitted at the accommodation due to the property being on working stables.

- Children are more than welcome to stay, but please ensure their safety by watching them at all times while outside the accommodation as there are horses on the premises.

- Functions or gatherings are not permitted, and we ask that guests respect the peace and vista of the surrounding area by ensuring no excessive noise.

- Drones are prohibited for privacy of the owners

- Smoking is strictly prohibited both inside and outside the accommodation.

If a booking guest fails to adhere to any of these conditions, the owner reserves the right and sole discretion to ask the guest to leave the property immediately.
