This gorgeous home has been beautifully renovated and decorated. Superbly positioned only 350m to the sand of Lighthouse Beach you will love being so close to the water. Watonga Shops is conveniently located only footsteps away, which includes cafes, restaurants, a convenience store, bottle shop and post office. The local gold club is down the road.

Behind an unassuming facade, you will instantly feel at home, and be captivated by 180 degree views of the surf. There is an oversized open area which includes a large modern fully equipped kitchen with microwave and dishwasher. The dining and lounge area is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows so you will be immersed by the sights and sounds of the ocean. This area also has reverse cycle air conditioning for your comfort and a smart TV. Unlimited Wi-Fi is included. At the rear of the home there is a large deck and backyard.

The main bedroom has a queen sized bed, smart tv and air conditioning. There are two more bedrooms with queen sized beds and a 4th bedroom with a bunk bed (double on the bottom and single on the top).

There are two newly renovated bathrooms, both with a shower and one with a bath. A washing machine and dryer is also available for your convenience.

There is a 1x garage and additional parking in the driveway. Within the garage, there is also table tennis to keep the kids busy.

This property does not accept bookings for Schoolies, Sporting Teams, Hens parties, Bucks parties or any other party bookings. If a booking is accepted by a third-party booking portal and then found by the managing agent to be one of the above, the booking will be cancelled and there will be no refund payable.

If a booking includes minors (under the age of 18), they must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21 and identification will be required to collect keys to the property.

A Security Deposit of $500 will be required prior to arrival. This security deposit can then be used to cover any damages or loss and the credit card provided may be used if the total of damages or loss exceeds the amount held.

Beautiful views but a disappointing stay

The good - Glorious as advertised view with visibility of the whales migrating south - whale watching from the comfort of the loungeroom! Comfortable beds, heating/cooling worked well, comfortable seating and nicely decorated. The not so good - Fridge broke down, fuse kept tripping the lights, very minimal supply of garbage bags, dishwashing tablets, toilet rolls, no supply of basics ie. sugar, salt, pepper, construction next door weekdays power tools begin at 7am Saturday 8am!

Fabulous beach house - amazing view and location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fabulous week away for the school holidays. Spacious, modern and beautifully furnished. Very clean and generously equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Lovely comfy beds and we loved the coffee machine (and pods) and the air fryer in the kitchen. Beautiful deck to sit and take in the ocean views. Best cafe in town and local shops just around the corner. There was so much to keep the whole family entertained in Port Macquarie - the coastal walk is a must. We will book again!

Great location, disappointing amenities

One the positive side, the house is in a great location, close to the beach and local shops. It is roomy, with 4 bedrooms. The agent was quick to answer a call to fix the smoke alarm which was faulty when we arrived. Netflix access is provided. However, amenities are the bare minimum - furniture is sparse, there is no BBQ. The outdoor deck is not under cover. The kitchen is not well equipped and there were some dishes put away dirty or left in the dishwasher. One of the toilet roll holders is falling off the wall. Most holiday rentals provide at least basics like salt, sugar, a spare toilet roll, but not this one - even the dishwashing detergent was almost empty. Overall disappointing in spite of the positives.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A great holiday spot, close to the beach with commanding water views. A lovely house! Also easy access to central Port Macquarie being only a short drive away. If you have time, do the coastal walk from the Lighthouse to Port Macquarie - this was spectacular.However, there are a couple of issues to note. Firstly, right next door, a new house is being built. Tradies are on-site from 7am (through to 3pm) so no chance of a "sleep in". I would have thought that this fact would have been contained in the property description as the house build has a long way to go before being completed. I am not sure I would have booked this particular home if I had been aware of the building work happening next door.Less of an issue was the fact that the air fryer hadn't been cleaned properly by the previous vacationer. And a suggestion for improvement would be for the owner to provide a vacuum cleaner.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great, we would stay in that location again. I think they’re a few minor things that need to be mentioned. 1. Most rental properties have a key lock or similar to get in property and also the leave key. 2. There were no dishwasher tablets for dishwasher, there was only 1 garbage bag for inside waste. I also think there should be an all purpose spray to clean benches etc. we had to purchase all of them to keep the property clean. 3. The red bin hadn’t been emptied the previous week, therefore the bin was overflowing. 4. I received an email, re: most properties don’t have linen, we would need to bring it, I attempted to phone your office to confirm if we needed to take our linen, the office was unattended, so we took our own linen, which wasn’t required. It would be helpful if this email only went out to people who need to take Linen. 5. the reservation process was easy and the person I spoke to was helpful.
