Wonderful Stay

Don’t hesitate and book! What a great place. Perfect size, decor, and fun. We came down for a quiet family thanksgiving getaway. This place had everything we needed and more. It is well kept and fairly new construction about 5 years from what we read. The only difference I remember from pics is a new couch on the main floor. The driveway was a breeze for us in our suv but we’re used to backroads and gravel too. Nevaeh Cabin Rentals were friendly and helpful with directions and easy check in and out. We ran out of time the morning of departure to write a review in the host book so if the owners read these reviews…thank you for sharing your home with us and we are so happy your dreams of owning a mountain home came true. We have that same dream ourselves but until then we will keep making family memories in rentals just like this one!

Four wheel drive needed

The stay was nice a relaxing but I think prices should be lowered and that the driveway should be graveled better there was ruts and we needed four wheel drive

Cabin was wonderful. Road to get there was terrible. Left a day early due to the inability to get up driveway to cabin. Had to walk uphill to cabin for 3 days. I had a pickup yet I believe a 4 wheel drive is required. Also road to cabin is single lane dirt with no room to pass oncoming traffic. Luckily ran into no one on the way up or down.

A beautiful, secluded, getaway dream!

Our family (2 teen girls) had a fantastic week at Dogwood Dream. The cabin was very clean and nicely appointed. No visible or audible neighbors while perched in the wilderness is truly a dream! We enjoyed the hot tub but it was on the ping pong/air hockey table where things really heated up! We love the outdoors and the surrounding area delivered - hiking, white water rafting, horseback riding - absolutely beautiful part of the country. Dogwood Dream was the perfect home base. We prepared most meals - all needed pots, pans, etc. were nice and accessible. The grill worked really well. S'mores in the fire pit. Fun was had by all!

Serene and Peaceful Getaway

Exactly as advertised- we went up to this rental for a weekend getaway. The cabin was amazing and clean. The views and surrounding area was serene, tranquil and all around relaxing. It had an irresistible charm and great amenities. We’ll definitely be back. Though we didn’t bring the kids— the cabin is really family friendly. We’ll be back!

We’ll be back!

The cabin was spotless. The pictures do not do this property justice - every detail has been attended to. It’s well-decorated and comfortable. The furniture outside is solid. Fire pit and hot tub are great! It’s clear that this cabin is well cared for. The cabin is very secluded - we felt like no one else was around. If you can afford it and it fits your size needs, rent it. You will not be disappointed. PS - when they say to not follow the GPS, believe them! Follow the instructions in the email.

Perfect Spring Break Getaway

This was our first family spring break in the 13 years since our oldest was born. After working and learning from home for over a year, the four of us were eager to visit a new place, but not yet ready to travel with many others through airports, or vacation in a crowded spot. Dogwood Dream was perfect for us. We selected it from among several other options because it offered three separate sleeping areas (though the two living rooms did have pull-out beds/futons which would allow for more to stay, and the lower bunk downstairs was not needed by us, either), a nice outdoor fire pit, a hot tub, and a great view. As shown in the pictures, the cabin is beautifully constructed and furnished. We had all the equipment and utensils needed to prepare our planned meals, except a griddle,; we simply bought one from a local retailer when shopping for perishable groceries. After sleeping on them for a week, I think we're all ready for memory material mattresses at home. Plenty of towels for the week, though it was unseasonably cool our first couple nights there, and heavier comforters would've been appreciated by all of us. The views were just incredible! The screened-in portion of the upper deck was a popular place for enjoying meals with a view, and at night, we could enjoy books out on the deck while still not being bothered by bugs. It feels remote, as we planned - and our Grand Caravan and my nerves got a workout going up the steep gravel drive to the property - but it is centrally located to many wonderful local communities: Blue Ridge, Copperhill/McCaysville, Blairsville, Dahlonega, Eillijay, and more trails and recreation areas than we could have taken in if we'd had 10 time as as long to stay. We sure tried, though, heading out by 10 each morning with water and plenty of power snacks and usually coming back pleasantly exhausted around 7 or 8 in the evening. There is so much to see and do in North Georgia. All communication with the rental company was clear and pleasant. We had exactly the sort of family fun we were dreaming of for the few months since we booked the property, and would recommend it to others without reservations.

Nice cabin

Nice and clean cabin. Plenty of sleeping and bathroom areas. Nice kitchen. It’s about an 1hr from most hikes but that was fine with us. We also loved the hot tub after a day of hiking. Great porch outside with GREAT view. The pics are correct here and we loved it. The downside is the seating arrangement in kitchen and living room. The kitchen has all bar stools which worked ok for us and our 7yr old but wouldn’t for those with younger kids or more than a small family. Same goes for the couches. There is one small couch upstairs and a futon downstairs. Not super comfy or spacious for hanging out. If we had more than us two adults, we all couldn’t hang out together in the living room. It rained a lot while we were there so a nicer or bigger couch would be nice when staying at the cabin. Overall it was a great stay and I recommend it for a small family or couple.

Perfect Getaway Cabin

Thank goodness for this place. We had to move from our original cabin because it was not up to par and luckily this place opened up. The owners quickly cleaned and turned the home so we could relocate. It was well appointed and immaculate. Very cozy home with a breathtaking view and quiet area with ultimate privacy. Highly recommend.

Amazing time with an beautiful view

Reserving the cabin was effortless and the host’s communication and availability was superb. The cabin is spacious, clean and gorgeous inside. This well appointed cabin had everything we needed. I especially enjoyed the wrap around porch and the view of the mountains. My kids loved the air hockey! The town of Blue Ridge is about 20 minutes away. There, you can find lots to do like dining, tubing, hiking and gem mining to name a few. We extended our stay and were sad to go when it was time to leave. It was truly a home away from home.
