"La Petite Maison" bietet perfekte Unterkunft in einem urigen, gemütlichen Häuschen für ein paar Personen. Dieses Cottage bietet Platz für bis zu 3 Personen mit 1 Schlafzimmer und 1 Bad. Kurzaufenthalte sind während der Hauptsommermonate zulässig. Für Buchungen von weniger als 7 Nächten, die online gebucht werden, wird jedoch keine Anzahlung fällig, bis die Reservierung von Visit Up North am nächsten Werktag bestätigt wird. An- und / oder Abreisetag müssen auf bestehenden Reservierungen aufbauen und / oder bitte an einem Samstag beginnen / enden.

Es gibt ein französisches Bett. Für jene kühlen Nächte genießen Sie ein Feuer im Gaskamin. Kein Kabel, aber WIFI ist vorhanden. Bettwäsche und Handtücher inklusive. Volle Küche. Wäschetrockner.

Im Freien genießen Sie die gepflegte Umgebung, die zum schönen See hinuntergeht. Sandfläche am Wasser. Prickelndes blaues Wasser finden Sie hier in der West Grand Traverse Bay. Genießen Sie atemberaubende Sonnenaufgänge am Morgen, während Sie an Ihrer ersten Tasse Kaffee nippen. Gartenmöbel und eine Feuerstelle. Holzkohlegrill. Planen Sie einen Spaziergang oder eine Radtour in das Dorf, um in einem der vielen lokalen Restaurants zu speisen. Lindsay helped us so much throughout the whole process and we couldn’t be happier with Visit Up North Vacation Rentals! La Petite Maison was as expected. Definitely could use a lot of updating, including A/C, taller shower head, and a needed mattress topper- mattress was super firm. The outside area is very relaxing and the beach is beautiful looking out onto Gull Island. Walking and biking distance to town for your morning coffee, meals, and shops. The house is on a quieter road so you don’t have to deal with loud cars in the night which was great after a long day experiencing all the towns and wineries in the area. Thank you so much Visit Up North for working with us- we will definitely be booking through you guys again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at La Petite Maison countless times since first renting the cottage in 1989. Through the years it has become our "home away from home". We've stayed every season except winter but only because the cottage closes for the winter. Obviously, we love it! Because we've spent so much time in the area, we didn't lament that the first 6 days of our stay brought the gales of November in October. The cottage's gas fireplace/stove not only provides extra warmth but also is a perfect cozy place for reading. The kitchen is also well equipped for making meals in so making soup was on the menu during those cold, wet, windy days. When the sun and warmer temperatures did arrive, we enjoyed time at the bay shore in the comfy lawn chairs. We greatly appreciate the owner's willingness to share their family cottage with us!

La Petite Maison- what a view!

This was our 2nd time staying at this Northport cottage! The view is spectacular and the cottage has everything one needs for a complete unplugged getaway. Our only complaint is the mattress is a bit uncomfortable and we did not get very good sleep while there. The view more than makes up for it!

The only downside was that we were not told about the ongoing construction next door, which started as early as 7:30 a.m. The owner came by and mentioned that we could reschedule, but how could we do that when we were already there? I'd check the status on the construction next door before renting.

Beautiful yard and view of the lake. House is nice. Small and outdated, but worked for the two of us. Cobwebs in most corners and dead bugs in them, and didn’t feel like we should have to clean at all when paying that price per night, but it’s what we agreed to. Overall it was a good experience

Perfect mini moon

My husband and I stayed at this cottage for our mini-moon, and it was perfect for a long weekend. The property was very private, the neighbors were quiet, and it was so nice having our own beach. The cottage was small, but we didn't need much space. There were a lot of amenities in the kitchen, and the overall cottage was clean. We were about 10 minutes walking distance from downtown, we were able to walk to dinner and to Barb's Bakery. We were also about a 15 minute drive to Leland. I would definitely everyone recommends visiting Northport, and staying at this cottage if you're visiting with a significant other.

Satisfied but not satisfactory.

Aged but not as clean as expected. Cobwebs, dirty window sashes, ripped screen, dirty blinds. Confusing list of amenities i.e. states :air conditioner - “No” followed by “Yes”. Same for TV. I assumed that meant they were available . I was wrong and didn’t take smart TV. It was cool enough at night we were able to open windows but lack of AC added to musty smell throughout, A few inexpensive minor repairs would make a big difference.

The only complaint we had was that the rental agency gave us the wrong address in the directions that were emailed. Word of advice, use the home rental app - it helped us get to the correct location as we arrived at night and after hours.

Cozy, Scenic and Private

My wife and I found this delightful little waterfront cottage online for our annual trek north to enjoy MI's spectacular color. It was our first stay here and it was all we had hoped it would be. By far, the most satisfying feature of the cottage is its large window facing Grand Traverse Bay. Northport has all any vacationer would need and more. NW Michigan at color time can be very busy but this little hamlet offers nature's best at a slower pace and with welcomed privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I have visited MI's northwest region annually for many years, usually staying on the east side of the bay. This year, we were able to find and reserve "La Petite Maison" in Northport. What a nice find! The little cottage is very ample for two and features a large picture window looking out onto your private Grand Traverse Bay beach. The clean cottage provides all you need for a comfortable stay in one of the most desirable villages on the peninsula. It's far enough north that you are out of the hustle yet close enough to participate if that's your thing. We enjoyed visits to Christmas Cove and Peterson Park in (successful) searches for Petoskey stones, getting some staples at Tom's, dinner at Tucker's and most importantly - for me - the best pastries ever at Barb's Bakery. We were fortunate to have spectacular weather and autumn color throughout the week. We would seriously consider returning to this rental in future years.
