Beautiful South Austin Retreat w/ Gym & Sauna, pet friendly!

Do you want to be close to everything Austin has to offer but tucked away from the hustle and bustle? Look no further! The South Austin Retreat is cozy and updated inside, has access to a private shady backyard and endless trails, and is still close to all the amenities for easy day to day life. The garage was made into a wellness studio which includes a 1-2 person sauna, cold plunge, and fully equipped gym. Bring your pets and make yourself at home!

The house has has 3 bedrooms, one of which was transformed into a spacious office, perfect for remote workers. Bedroom 1 has a king bed, walk-in closet, and in suite full bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a comfortable queen bed with ample closet space and is adjacent to bathroom 2. The living room has a large comfortable couch and overlooks the beautiful backyard. The kitchen has new cabinetry with tons of storage space and a large pantry. The kitchen has a brand new fridge and dishwasher, gas stove/oven, filtered water, and basic cookware.

When you venture out to the backyard, you will first enter a fully screened in patio so that you can enjoy the yard while avoiding the bugs. The patio also has a fan to keep cool during warmer months while still enjoying the outdoors. When you step out of the patio, you will be standing on a large piece of turf which helps clean human/pets feet before entering the house. You will also notice a large cedar sundeck perfect for morning yoga, coffee, or a sleepy pup. The backyard is large, private, and shaded with beautiful trees, which is important in the hotter Texas months! You can continue enjoying the outdoors within the neighborhood because at the end of the street is a playground, perfect for families and young kids. Just beyond the playground are multiple trailheads with endless miles to explore.

When you do want to get out and enjoy some good food/drinks and music, there are several popular bars available within 3 mins including Armadillo Den, Moontower Saloon, Lulus, South Austin Beer Garden and more. There is also a dog park bar 5 mins down the road called Watering Bowl. There are multiple coffee shops as well in the area including The Hive. In addition, HEB, USPS/UPS, gas stations and more are within a 5 min or less drive.

The hospitals in the area are extremely commutable. St Davids South Austin Medical Center is only 7 miles away, Seton Main and Dell Seton Medical Center are 16 miles north (about 20-25 mins). There are several parks/trails in the area such as Auditorium Shores (20 mins), Mary Moore Seawright offleash dog park (8 mins), and more!
