About this space

Welcome to the Bird House at The Urban Standard. This upstairs, front apartment is just 10 minutes outside of downtown St. Petersburg.  The unit features a kitchen that will accommodate home cooked meals, a newly remodeled bathroom plus a large studio room for sleeping, eating, and working.  This modern space is ideal for short- or long-term stays.  Featuring a full-sized bed, futon couch, and office space makes it ideal for those needing to get some work done while visiting St. Pete and the beaches.

The space

The upstairs 460 square foot apartment is central to the St. Pete area.  It is 10 minutes from the bars and museums of downtown St. Petersburg and only a 20-minute drive to the pristine beaches in “The Burg”.  Easy access to 275 North for Tampa International Airport or the Clearwater Airport. Minutes from shopping centers and local shops.  This property is on the edge of a commercial area yet borders a small, quaint quiet neighborhood.  Once inside the gated area, it feels like a garden oasis, a place to escape and relax.

Guest access

Park in the dedicated parking space in the front and walk up the flight of stairs. Step up into the small hallway area, with the bedroom/studio area to the left, and the bathroom and kitchen area to the right.  There is an outdoor seating area next to the stairs, where guests can enjoy the evening with a glass of wine or early morning sunshine, coffee in hand.  Guests have access to the other outdoor spaces including dog park, and outdoor seating in this shared community. If visitors have guests coming over, they are welcome to park on the street.  The unit will have a keyless entry, with code given the day of rental.

Other things to note

The private apartment is located just North of Downtown St. Petersburg. This unit is within a small complex with a couple of long term rentals, and other units that accommodate short and mid term rentals.  Guests enjoy chatting with one another about their fun for the day or recommend other areas to visit in our amazing St. Pete.  Bringing friends or family?  Ask us about our other units. Ideal space for friends/family that want to gather yet have their own place to sleep and eat.
