Weekend Stay
We stayed at tis house for my friends 30th bday. It was our first time in Miami.
1. This house is located in Little Haiti. The area seems a little rough. It looks to be going through gentrification. I wouldn’t walk here at night but we didn’t experience any issues. It was also a short drive to Wynwood area which was nice.
2. Our biggest issue was a bed that was located in one of the guest rooms. As soon as they sat on the bed it seems like the bed frame was not sturdy or stable and cracked. As the weekend went on it just got worse. It was either already broken and we just happened to suffer the consequences or it was built incorrectly or it was just cheap. Overall that really sucked because it looks like we broke it when thats not the case.
3. Hand towels instead of bath towels were given to each of us for our showers. Towels are not expensive those could be better. Adult size towels would’ve been nice.
4. The couch in the living rooms is sooooo uncomfortable. Before heading out or when we come in we like to gather in the living room and watch an episode of something but this couch was not it. So hard.
Overall the place smelled good, the patio was nice, the pool is small but it does the job, the twinkly lights in the back are a nice touch as well.
Seems like the house is furnished with very cheap furniture which makes it a not so comfortable stay. I wouldn’t recommend to a friend. But if it’s the only place that fits the budget is not the worse.
