“The 1959” is a beautiful Mid Century Modern home in historic Racquet Club Estates. This Meiselman architectural gem has been carefully curated with minimalist features, including polished concrete floors, stunning mid-century furniture, and timeless geometric art".

This very private, completely walled, and gated property will make you feel like you’re staying at your own mini resort. It’s all here in your own private slice of Palm Springs paradise; including a large refreshing saltwater pool and an above ground hot springs brand hot tub that’s ideally postioned next to a luxury outside shower. 

The outdoor shower allows guests an opportunity to wash off prior to entering into the pool & hot tub, this will ensure that the water stays in prestine condition during your stay.  You can also enjoy a refreshing morning shower in the great outdoors while being surrounded by spectacular mountain views.  

There's plenty of outdoor seating, both poolside and in the shade. Inside the home, your guests can enjoy board games in front of the mid-century gas fireplace. Central air conditioning, light walls, and polished concrete flooring ensures that the desert heat stays outside.

The full kitchen features a French door refrigerator, as well as a gas stovetop, slab granite countertops, and all the large & small appliances you'll need to create all the good stuff. Please feel free to drink water from the facuet, as the house is outfitted with a filteration system that purifies the water and softeness it. 

Both bedrooms are comfortably outfitted for a restful night’s sleep after playing out in the sun all day. The primary bedroom showcases a King size bed, large closet, dresser, and an ensuite bathroom. The guest bedroom features a Queen size bed, a fold up desk/table in the closet, and has access to the hallway bathroom. Each bathroom features a uniquely tiled standalone shower.

Inside the den you’ll find a large smart flatscreen television, a super comfy couch, an additional sleeping area that's perfect for a little one, and a work desk for your convenience.   

This property provides a perfect blend of decor as it mixed modern touches with mid-century modern elements that creates a wonderful getaway for you and your group. It’s the perfect vacation rental for entertaining and reveling in the Palm Spring lifestyle.

The garage area has been converted to provide you with an additional area for entertainment.  Inside, you'll find a full-size ping-pong table and a couch for relaxing on.  Inside this converted garage you'll also find a set of bocce balls, this is a classic desert game that you can enjoy over on the grassy area. Please feel free to fold the ping-pong table up, and gently place off to the side to park one medium size vehicle inside.    

As a dog friendly property, the owners asked that you please pick up after your four legged family members, and to please keep them off the furniture - this will help to ensure that the next guests have the same wonderful experience that you're going to have at The 1959!

This vacation rental is located in a peaceful and tranquil residential neighborhood perfect for your next poolside getaway.

In order to maintain the highest quality of our homes and the peace and quiet of our neighborhoods, all guests must adhere to the city and house rules. The city prohibits music and loud noise. The city strictly enforces these rules and prohibits parties, events, music, street parking, and disruptive guests. No music is allowed at any time. Quiet hours are between 9:00pm and 10:00am and guests are asked to be inside and mindful of neighbors. Overnight guests shall not exceed the property’s posted occupancy.

Optional pool and spa heat is available at an additional cost of $69 nightly or $345 weekly. Pool and spa heat is recommended October thru May. For this, we will preheat your pool and ensure it is heated upon your arrival to a comfortable 86 degrees. Additionally, you will have access to heat the spa to 102 degrees. Spa heat only is available at $25 nightly. (During hot summer months, spa heat only can be enabled at no additional charge. These months include July, August, September)
