Poor Host - Keep Looking

The house is not large as they describe, it is a small home but does have decent sized bedrooms. It worked for us size-wise. The issues we ran into were with not being able to control the temperature in the house, not having enough toilet paper because they lock up extras (same with towels), not having everything needed in the kitchen etc. Don’t get me wrong, it has the bare basics but bring your own streaming device for the big tv downstairs and skip the tiny tv’s upstairs - all are locked to roku guest so we were happy we brought our Apple TV from home. The worst part was this disgusting yellow stain on one of the comforters that we noticed when we arrived. We tried calling but to no avail. Then we decided to just leave it alone and use a blanket we had brought with us. Then when we got home I received a message that we were being fined $150.00 to replace it because of the stain! I couldn’t believe it and tried to tell Ramiro that it was not us and in fact was a major inconvenience because the house was cold and we could not change the temperature so it was freezing at night for that room with no comforter. He did not believe that we tried contacting their company and refused to drop the charge. It was very unfortunate and has made me wary of booking with any corporation through Vrbo versus a regular person so that we can get ahold of them and work things out more easily. Well priced relatively but many headaches as listed. Plus the tiny neighborhood has cars parked everywhere on the street which makes it harder to navigate and park if you can’t fit in their tiny driveway/garage. Just want to inform you before you make the call to use them or not. Cheap up front, but beware they will hit you with charges on your way out!

Cute home away from home!

Located in a gated community with a small driveway and garage so parking is tight and limited. The check-in process was simple and easy to follow. Very simple furnishings, nothing fancy but adequate with TVs equipped with Roku and WiFi access. Minimal basic kitchen supplies, linens, and towels are provided so bring extra comforter and towels, especially if you’re staying during the winter season. You’ll probably want to bring a good cooking spatula and pan since the ones they have are of poor quality (I’ve suggested that owner replace them with something better). and the eating utensils are more suitable for children. The whole place has air fresheners in just about every corner but is probably necessary if it’s rented out to guests with pets. Overall, the place is clean. There is a washer/dryer and dishwasher so it makes it easy to have things ready at check out. PM is reachable via Vrbo and usually responds promptly. It is convenient to a grocery store and gas station as well as a few restaurants. Property is adequate for a business professional staying for a few days.

Great location. Love that condo was pet friendly.

Host was polite and responsive. The only complaint was how filthy the inside of the dish washer is and that there was no dish soap available. Aside from that, I would definitely stay there again.

Great place

The home was comfortable, clean, and in a nice, safe neighborhood. Close enough to Floore Country Store in Helotes to easily ride share to a couple concerts. Everything we needed.

Overall pleased with stay

Check in process was smooth and owner quickly responded to messages. Also was allowed to have a later check out time since we didn’t get checked in until late. Only minor issue was there was only 1 television in living room. If it had been listed on the site I would have brought one for the kids. And there were only 2 skillets. Could have cooked more had we had proper cookware which I would have also brought. Other than that the stay was great.
