Eco- therapy off-grid Cabin in Nature

Quiet off grid eco- therapy cabin. Nestled in the trees on a dead end road. Land is cleared for parking, recreation and outdoor games. Get ready for glamping!

We are connected to solar for electricity, compost toilet. This cabin is VERY LOW maintance and requires NOTHING from our guest to do! Just come in and relax!

NO running water, but we DO have lots of drinking water and a small pump sink to wash hands/ teeth/ face.

Please note that **Towels NOT provided**

We do not have a traditional indoor kitchen or place to cook. Think “glamping”
We have an electric skillet to use inside and outside we have the BBQ with side burners.

Appliances we have-

*BBQ with side burner (This will be main cook source) and a black stone to use on bbq.

*Electric skillet for indoor cooking
*Small microwave
*Toaster
*1 cup coffee maker
* Slow cooker
* Hot water kettle

We have satellite TV but there is no internet in the cabin. However there is cell service for phone calls and to use your 3G data. Propane fire pit for use at a cost firewood as well. (See other details to note below).

Water for shower must be brought back from the lake and used with our rechargeable shower head with outdoor shower. Buckets are provided to use and get water from Annis Lake. Annis Lake is spring fed therefor very clean. It is so clean you can see to the bottom!

**Ponhook Lake Campground- which is 7 minutes down the road has coin operated showers .25 cents) if you wish to do that as well!

5 minute walk to Annis Lake and 15 minute walk/7 minute drive to Ponhook Lake for boating fun!

Lovely Hideaway

Peaceful retreat. Off the grid living with most of the comforts of home. Cozy and comfortable. The night sky and crickets chirping was exactly what I need. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Great spot to unplug!

Perfect blend of "off the grid" and the host providing the basics. No running water wasn't an issue. Bugs weren't bad at all, which was very nice. Swimmable lake is a short walk away. Host was easy to reach via Vrbo chat and great to interact with. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing off-grid getaway!

Can’t say enough about this cute off grid cabin. The smell of the wood panel walls, the peace and serenity of nature! Ample lakes to fish and waterfalls to chase. 30 minute drive to the Atlantic East Coast to Whale watch, or catch some rays at Carters Beach! Was the perfect home base for endless adventures around the beautiful south end of Nova Scotia! Cannot say enough about how peaceful it was, the perfect off grid cabin!

Hello! im Monique.

This cabin was built by my husband, our good buddy and myself. We have stayed in the cabin for 3 years (still a work in progress) We love it and we hope you will too!

We have moved to newfoundland and now have our neighbors watching and managing the property for us so we can keep in the family for years to come or until we move back to Nova Scotia.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft
