Vacation bliss awaits at this custom home, designed by a prominent San Francisco Interior Designer and a North Carolina architect. The home is situated on more than 4 acres in one of the most distinguished Sonoma neighborhoods and on the grounds of the former Spreckels Estate.

The interior presents 2,700 square feet, and the central loggia has 14-foot wooden ceilings and six enormous French doors that open to give a unique indoor/outdoor feel. There is a large farmhouse dining table and a smaller round table. A sizeable lush lawn outside the loggia leads up to a 45 x 20 foot covered pool with a built-in spa, as well as a poolside dining area with views of the mountains to the North. Follow the path from the lawn to a custom-built stone firepit with views of the Valley of the Moon. The property also has a giant tree swing in the shade. The land is full of beautiful old oak trees and madrone trees that protect from the afternoon Sonoma sun.

The kitchen is one of the true highlights, with a vast marble-covered island, Thermador range, refrigerator, and dishwasher. There is a fridge, a walk-in pantry and a banquette facing a 60" TV and overlooking the pool and the mountains. The kitchen opens onto a large deck with ample seating and unreal views. This wing also has a simple and beautiful powder room and, a bunk room with two custom-built wood bunks, and a queen, sectional sofa bed. This room boasts a 60" TV and a full bath.

The south wing of the house includes a laundry room and a guest bedroom with an en suite full bath. A spectacular primary suite with a large en suite bath, including a walk-in closet, separate water closet, and an outdoor rain shower. This room looks out over the mountains, down into a grove of Madrone trees, and the pool.

All bedrooms also have down comforters with coverlets and bathrobes. There is high-speed internet and a built-in Sonos music system. Two TVs each have AppleTV with Netflix, HBO, Showtime, ESPN, and other premium channels included. The home is airy and open, full of light, and typically does not require heating or cooling; there are three separate zones, all controlled by Nest thermostats.

Events and parties are strictly forbidden, and all guests coming to the property must be identified and listed on the rental agreement. No guests are allowed past 10 p.m. No outdoor amplified music is allowed at any time. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Amazing house but terrible property management
This home was incredible. Honestly one of the most beautiful properties we have stayed in. It was also the perfect size for our family. Unfortunately, the property management company (Turn Key) truly ruined this experience for us. The pool and hot tub didn’t get fixed until the afternoon of our final day at the property. We never got to use it after we asked for it to be fixed several times a day every day we were there. We also were traveling with our 10 month old and had a babyquip (baby equipment) delivery that we requested to be dropped off an hour or so before check-in so we could have the crib set up for our daughter’s first nap. The property management company was absolutely heartless and wouldn’t let the baby times be delivered until after we checked in. To say they were in accommodating would be an understatement. They were very rude and not understanding. I would love to stay at this property again and recommend it to everyone I know who is traveling to wine country, but I would not do that unless a new property management company is hired.

Leaves Some Things to be Desired
We have rented houses all over the world, and know what to expect from a rental at this cost point. The house is smaller in square footage than it looks. We never received the check-in information before we were close to the home. It would have been nice to receive before that time. We were told that the pool was solar heated. When we arrived, there was a booklet with information about the house that stated the pool could be heated at a cost during the shoulder season. Once we were there, we were told that the pool could not be heated and that we needed to call to have the hot tub heated. Once it reached its optimal temperature, it would automatically turn off after an hour, and we had to call Turnkey management services to turn it back on. In the middle of the stay, they fixed that issue. The pool was basically useless because it was too cold, and they did not honor their own rules and regs. FYI, there is a nice tub in the master bedroom, but the only shower in that bathroom is outdoors. Not the greatest situation if the weather is cool. The Turnkey property management company knew very little about the ins and outs of the property, and we got several different answers depending on who answered the phone. House was clean and nicely appointed otherwise.

Amazing home!

The home was really beautiful although should be cleaner, with a lot of deferred maintenance inside and out for this rate. The home was beautiful and you can tell it was well built but needs some love. Needed better Cleaning, maintenance, stocked kitchen(oils, hot pads, condiments), safe outside. We loved the house, the windows, and the space.
