You are alone on 9 acres and the trail system for ATV's, snowmobiling, Horseback Riding, hiking whatever outdoor activity you desire is right out the front (or back) door!

Surrounded by hardwoods, it is beautiful all year long!

Constructed by one of Iron River Premier builders, we have a little country, a little class, some outdoors and everything else in between!

Walk out the front or back door and you have direct access to 100's of miles of the state's best trails, take a 4 wheeler, SXS, snowmobile, Harley, mountain bike or take a hike to anywhere in the northwoods that you might want to go.

A short drive or walk and you have the grocery store, bakery, winery, brewery, restaurants and gas.

Excellent Place! We’ll be back again!

Great location for snowmobiling - Right off of the trail! Parking was not an issue, huge lot to turn around with room to spare! Kids enjoyed sledding on the hill near the house. Inside the home had everything we needed. We had 5 people: 3 adults, 2 kids & dog. Kids shared a bed but wouldn’t have needed to, there’s a folding couch in the living room if needed. Plenty of space for everyone!

Topside Retreat has top shelf accommodations.

Great location for our hunting group in the Iron River area. Plenty of parking, easy access, close to STH 2. Interior was spotless and very up to date. Large laundry room was a plus. TV screens in various rooms is nice but hardly necessary. Likewise the king size bed seemed superfluous. We could have used more beds - two single beds in the large bedroom would be more practical. Similarly, could have used a small chair in each bedroom - for sitting down while dressing. Would be nice to have a place outside to store or hang deer. All and all, we had an excellent experience.

Paradise in the woods!

Wonderful property! The cabin was perfect for our group of six adults. The location had easy access to the ATV trails and plenty of parking for our trucks and trailers. Definitely will be back.

Trail rides

Beautiful place right off a main ATV trail with east access to Iron River! Love the area! This is our second trip with ATV’s. Hoping it’s available for when we want to come back to ride snowmobiles!! She has everything stocked that you would ever need in a vacation home from extra pillows to a crockpot.

Vacation in the Northwoods of Wisconsin

This property is super clean, well stocked and appointed with everything you need for a stay in Northern Wisconsin. Close to Bayfield, Ashland and Washburn; fun towns to visit in the summer. Close to Lake Superior for water recreation.

Peaceful & wooded

Nice, clean cabin with a great layout for us. Having the washer and dryer was so convenient. AC was only in kitchen/living area, not bedrooms. WIFI was down some of the time and the smart TV has no local channels. Pretty natural surroundings and privacy.

SXS trip

House was perfect for our trip plenty of room. Location is awesome right on the trails. Huge parking area for trucks and trailers. Beds were too soft for our liking and we had some mishaps with the coffee maker. All in all a great place to ride from and hang with family and friends. Would stay again. FYI trails in this area are really nice and not busy.

Great place for a side-by-side weekend

We had six adults stay at this property for a fall side-by-side weekend. Beautiful location and very close to the trails. Loved the fact it was remote with no neighbors in sight.

Fall UTV ride

What a beautiful place and location! We came to go UTVing and enjoy the beautiful fall colors. Not at all disappointed with this trip.This house is definitely one of my favorites for many reasons. The beds were very comfortable. The long table in the closet was nice to use for clothes. The heated floors felt amazing after being outdoors all day along with the gas fireplace. We absolutely loved our stay here and we will be back! Thank you for opening your place to us!

Can’t wait to stay again!

Leah was quick to answer all of our questions. The property is in an awesome location to get on the trails or explore the area by car. The large driveway was fantastic to be able to park, maneuver our 20’ trailer. The cabin is beautiful and has had a lot of thought put into making sure you feel like home. Our family loved it, we will be back.

My husband and I have lived in Iron River for almost all of our lives, we have 2 sons and we all have enjoyed Northern WI and all of the outdoor activities that it offers. It is our little piece of heaven!

We own and operate a residential construction company and snowplowing business in the area as well.

We chose the area where Topside Retreat is located because of the beauty of the trees that surround the home and because it is 50 yards from 100's of miles of Northern WI best trail system! We all enjoy snowmobiling, atv rides, soaking in the fall colors, so we put a lot of thought into the area making it convenient for people who have trailers and need space. The land is perfect for hunting and is near county land for more room to roam.

It is close to town, yet just far enough away so you have the peace of the forest and can relax without neighbors.
