In terms of location, our vacation villa hits the bullseye at Legacy Villas. Overlooking the hammock garden, ours is the very first property at the front of the main promenade, ideally located between the three biggest, most popular pools in the community, and just steps from the kid’s splash zone, fitness center, lap pool, main clubhouse, and everyone’s favorite 10+ person hot tub. Since this is a ground-floor unit, you can walk straight from your bed to the poolside in less than a minute!

If this is your first time visiting Legacy Villas in La Quinta, California, welcome! Here you will find an exclusive, family-friendly, condo community with 24-hour manned security gate. Guests can choose between twelve (12) salt-water pools and eleven (11) hot tubs spread throughout 40 acres of landscaped grounds with sparkling fountains, rosemary bushes, palm trees, citrus trees, bougainvillea archways, and flowering desert cacti. The community is nestled in a protected cove, surrounded by the Santa Rosa mountains. This is a great home base to all the happenings in the desert, where hummingbirds greet you in the morning, and the grounds are accessible only to those on the Legacy Villas guest list.

Since our villa is centrally located, you’re right where the action is. This is great for active families who wish to avoid the long schlep back and forth to the main pools; for large groups who want a “base camp” by the main clubhouse; for bridal parties and wedding guests who need to stay close to the reception; and for tennis & pickleball players, golfers, and spa-goers who prefer a shorter walk to the La Quinta Resort next door. Our villa is also flexcation-friendly with a mini-office/workstation in the secondary King Suite.

THREE OUTDOOR PATIOS - The two north-facing patios are covered and always keep cool in the shade, while the east-facing patio gets lots of sun, and is a fun place to people-watch. Enjoy your morning coffee outside, relax on our outdoor couch, or grill your signature favorites on our Char-Broil Infrared Grill (for those who prefer open flame, shared community gas grills are located close by, at the lap pool.)

Our GREAT ROOM boasts a deep and cushy couch with built-in chaise. Two comfy armchairs and a swivel chair provide plenty of seating for everyone to spread out. Samsung 55" Smart TV, and lots of board games help keep the fun going after the sun goes down. During the cooler months, quickly warm up by the “one-touch” gas fireplace.

KITCHEN: Fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need to make family dinners at home. Five-burner gas stove w/ built in griddle, and steam clean oven. French-door KitchenAid refrigerator with deep freezer drawer (water dispenser and ice maker located inside). Solid Granite Kitchen countertops. KitchenAid Dishwasher. Microwave, blender, toaster oven, and coffee maker.

DINING AREA: Elongated Dining Table with seating for six (6). Breakfast bar provides counter-height seating for two (2) more. French doors open to the main patio with additional outdoor table seating for six (6).

PRIMARY KING SUITE: King-size bed. Private bathroom ensuite with soaking tub and step-in shower. Roku-enabled Smart TV with cable. Wetbar with mini-fridge, microwave, and mini-Keurig. Personal thermostat (can set a different temperature from the rest of the unit). One-touch gas fireplace. Ceiling fan. French Doors open to a semi-enclosed patio on the main promenade, with outdoor loveseat and chairs.

CASA BIENVENIDOS! Our upgraded villa is a tribute to the freedom-loving spirit of the West, and those who embrace life and its many adventures. Recently redecorated in neutral Southwest colors, the style is a little Clint Eastwood and a little Marilyn Monroe. Our place is both elegant and charming, yet welcoming and comfortable. We hope you enjoy our little oasis in the desert as much as we do.

NOTE: We do not recommend this villa for guests with infants, or with family members who have auditory hypersensitivities. This location is best for active families and groups who like to be close to the fun. Please note that Legacy Villas is popular for its courtyard wedding receptions which may include outdoor DJs. However, QUIET HOURS begin promptly at 10pm.
