It's a wonderfully relaxing home to spend time in and all the main rooms have sea views as well as views of Criccieth Castle. From the bedrooms you are able to see along Cardigan Bay - especially from the balcony which serves the Master bedroom. Sitting on the balcony with a morning coffee is a real pleasure!
The house is a short stroll downhill to the town and the beach, so if you're staying local then you don't need a car, although the walk uphill back to the house will keep you fit! The town has a mini market, butchers, off license and a delicatessen as well as a host of cafes, restaurants and gift shops.
The rear garden is enclosed and the house also sits off a private road so it is very quiet and peaceful as well as being safe for young children. My kids (now teenagers) have been coming since they were babies and we have always found it a very easy house to manage with young children because the doors have high handles so it's easy to contain them!
There are plenty of attractions within a 30-minute drive of the house from the many wonderful beaches along the Lleyn Peninsula to attractions for younger children as well as a number of adventure activities that are now offered in the area such as Zipwires (longest and fastest in Europe), white water rafting and mountain biking to name but a few.
