Überqueren Sie die Brücke und starten Sie Ihre Wanderung auf den Wind River Mountain Range. Pferde können bei einem der lokalen Ranches fünf Meilen entfernt. Spaziergang in die Stadt in 5 Minuten, benötigt keine Autos. Im Obergeschoss und im Erdgeschoss Wohnzimmer, beide mit TV und Gas-Kamine (ideal für Familien). Outdoor BBQ plus firepit auf dem Fluss mit Bänken. Direkt neben Stadtpark; der Nähe Lebensmittelgeschäft, und Dubois Geschäften und Restaurants.
In der Nähe von Jackson Hole, noch in einem kleinen, klassischen, freundlich westlichen Stadt. Seien Sie nicht überrascht zu sehen, eine Postkutsche fahren durch oder Elch über den Fluss und wandern über die Straße.
Ideal für Familien, die einen Outdoor-Erlebnis, aber nur wenige Gehminuten von Restaurants, Geschäften und Stadtaktivitäten.

We have been trying to get cross country friends together and visit Dubois for the past 2 years. Unfortunately, we have had to cancel both trips. The good news is the Owner has been wonderful to work with, and we will try again for another stay at this home!
This place was the best. The owner has thought of everything you could possibly need. There were fans, humidifiers, electric blankets, lanterns, flashlights, all the basic kitchen items. Plenty of dishes, utensils, flatware, pots & pans. Beds from firm to ultra soft. The sound of the babbling river outside was an added pleasure.
We were 3 retired siblings traveling with our spouses, and only two of the six with good mobility so we worried about the steps but with 3 of 4 bedrooms upstairs and the ability to drive down to the lower level the worry was for nothing.
During our stay the animals were abundant and the Mule Deer jumped the fence and came right into the back yard we even got to see a Grizzly on the out skirts of town when returning from Yellowstone. The fish were hungry and several trout were caught.
Besides the stores and pharmacy that the owner recommends in Riverton we found Jackson Hole to be more convenient to our travel pattern. Grocery Store is directly across the street.
The manager Marsha was very helpful and informative my brother came with his prospecting gear and she personally showed him a few places he could pan. The trip to Yellowstone was a bit of a hike but well worth it. We explored the museum a short walk north of the home and several of the scenic drives. Views are outstanding.
The only problem we encountered was the smoke from the California Fires and the home not having air conditioning and that was only a problem because my brother came down with a cold during our stay and had to leave early cause he couldn't handle the smoke. The temperatures didn't warrant an air conditioner.
Unfortunately we were unable to take our vacation this year in Wyoming, but the owner was wonderful to work with and very understanding of our situation. We will definitely try to reschedule this trip in the future with her.
This was a great vacation rental. We loved sitting on the deck at night, listening to the river and the wind in the trees. The house is spacious and well equipped and the local manager was very helpful. There is a nice lawn in front and in back, which would be perfect for young children. We took lots of day trips, including to Yellowstone, and it was so nice to have a comfortable place to come back to at night. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. We look forward to returning as soon as we can!
The listing was accurate. All the items mentioned were in place. The house was clean and well stocked. The location is ideal and I would definately recommend this rental to families. The ability to walk to the post office, bank, grocery, museums, town park and access to the Wind River make this home a perfect vacation rental. The owners were very considerate and helpful. I will probably use this site as a future vacation spot. Nostalgia Bistro is fine dinner dining and the Cowboy Cafe and Daylight Donut are excellent breakfast spots. Two coffee shops are in easy walking distance also.
We REALLY enjoyed our stay at the FLYING W in Dubois, WY! Our family of 5 (2 adults & 3 children; ages 10, 12 & 14) had more than enough room! The kids loved the room and not having to share space! We loved the house! It's so much easier for us than staying in a hotel room! The house gave us room for everyone to be together; or to spend time alone. It's close to a park and a walkway beside the Wind River.
We will recommend the Flying-W to our family and friends! It's clean, quiet, and located in the wonderful quaint and quiet town of Dubois. We enjoyed the large decks (both front & back) to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee, or to listen to the peaceful Wind River.
The location of this property was perfect for us! We spent time during the day exploring the area (Grand Teton & Yellowstone National Parks), shopping and then could go "home" to rest. Laundry, Wi-Fi and TV are all on-site! The Flying W Rental Home is very well kept and maintained. We didn't have any problems with our reservations, or communicating with the owners who are caring and friendly; plus helpful in giving us suggestions of things to see & do in the area!
We enjoyed our time spent at the Whiskey Basin Habitat Management Area searching for wildlife and petroglyphs. We actually found a couple of petroglyphs!
The National Bighorn Sheep Interpretive Center was fun! They offer a short video (for a nomimal $ fee) that provides great information on bighorn sheep, plus they also have a small shop with some unique jewelry, t-shirts and other gifts.
We enjoyed Daylight Donuts (oh, yum!), and The Cowboy Cafe. We spent an entire afternoon shopping and visiting the stores which are located in Dubois.
Welty's General Store was enjoyed by all us; they have both old and new things for sell, or to see. Our youngest bought himself a cowboy hat, and we bought a jar of some blackberry jam, which was made locally!
Dubois Super Foods was conveniently close for buying groceries, ice and to buy our fishing licenses. Exxon has gasoline and some real good food too! We enjoyed Stewart's Trapline Gallery and the jewelry, rugs, baskets, and other quality (Indian) goods.
We caught some beautiful rainbow trout at a nearby lake. Prepared the trout and took them to Yellowstone with us where we found a picnic area to use. Cooked the trout on an open grill. At Jackson we enjoyed a rodeo. Rode horses. Took a boat ride on Jenny Lake to hike; saw Hidden Falls. Fun & enjoyable experience! Dubois = memories!

During Eclipse Week, fixed rate will apply for up to 10 guests. Rates are subject to change until confirmed in reservation. Additional restrictions on refunds specified in rental agreement.
$150 partially-refundable cleaning fee (if guest chooses to clean), and a $400 fully refundable (if no damage) security deposit required. 50% of rental rate due at time of reservation.
