The villa has large light rooms and all mod.cons, internet access, and two spacious terraces. It makes a wonderful base from which to explore Tuscany, follow the Piero della Francesca trail to Arezzo; gaze with awe on Michelangelo's David in Florence; climb to the top of the Campanile in Sienna; buy scrumptious fresh local food in nearby markets or visit the numerous excellent, reasonably priced, neighbourhood restaurants. There are wine tastings and designer outlets, walks and cycle rides, two canoes for the lake and a table tennis table; lazing by the pool.in peace and quiet. Casa Singerna is an idyllic spot for a vacation.

Our party of 10 had actually rented the villa, which is set in the hills and has the most stunning views from all areas. Booking was really easy, as well, it was so helpful being able to discuss things in English with Mel, who gave us lots of really useful information. The rooms were large, which is unusual in most villas in Italy. The cleanliness was of a very high standard, along with the pool being beautifully clean. Whilst we were there we were able to look around the farmhouse, which turned out to be bigger than the villa, but equally as clean. The kitchen areas area set out so well in both properties and they both have several terraces with large tables, where you can enjoy the breath taking views whilst eating outside. One thing we noticed was that it was so peaceful here, although it was quite near to main towns where there were several big supermarkets to stock up in. You will need to high a car though, we had booked two from the airport before we travelled and it turned out to be a very cost effective. There are some fantastic restaurants in this area and we had some great days out in Siena, Florence and Pisa. I would not normally make the effort to write a review, but was so impressed with the natural beauty of Casa Singerna, along with the amenities, that I thought it worth letting others know. Highly recommended.
We had some lovely walks down by the lake and through the woods, interspersed with trips to Sienna and Florence. Perfect location. Wonderful holiday

It has two canoes to use on the lake and 6 bicycles, There is a table tennis table in the house and riding facilities nearby. Cooking and babysitting services easily available. Excellent restaurants and local markets in the area, not to mention designer clothes outlets. An ideal vacation retreat.
