I will start by saying this is a wonderful place to stay with your family and not feel cramped or rushed.
When I book our stay I had no problems, it was very simple. Before my visit they sent an email that told us what we needed to do once we arrived. I read some reviews about weird check in but as long as you follow the instructions they provide, it's not out of your way at all. When we stopped to pickup our information the women who helped me, Patricia, was very nice, explained everything that we needed to know and I was in and out of the office in less than 5 minutes. Their an off-site rental company, which is very normal, and there location was honestly on the way. By the way the Twisstie Treat ice cream is worth a stop. Great ice cream, sometimes crowded, but worth it. When we arrived at the resort, we checked in at the clubhouse for a parking pass, and for a look around, the pool is very beautiful! When we're arrived at the condo, we were able to get in using the information provided. Side note, there is an alarm, Patricia told me, and showed me the password to disable, I forgot. The alarm went off, for awhile, but that was completely our fault!!! The house was perfect. They have everything you need, plates cups bowls, silverware. They do start you off with toilet paper in each bathroom and 1 roll of paper towels, but beyond that, it's your responsibility. The ice maker they had worked well! When we visit parks we like to bring our own water and when we filled up in the morning we used just about all of it and it was filled again by that evening. Bathrooms are spacious. Everything is clean! You can tell that they actually clean when a guest checks out. I can tell by the baseboards. When you walk into someones home or a public place you can see that it's not cleaned well when there is built up dirt & junk on or by the baseboards.
This condo is wonderful, but because of the the messed up check-in system I would not stay here again. Let me start with the condo. It is a new unit and is in prefect condition. The unit is well decorated and fairly well stocked. The pool is very small, but great for young kids. The neighborhood pool is a very short walk away and has a waterslide, waterfall, and 2 hot tubs. The unit does have a washer/dryer. My only complaints with the actual unit was: the bathroom countertops are very high - too high for small children; there are NO BEACH TOWELS; and there is no dish soap or dish washer tablets. The unit is very clean and is located 10-20 minutes from Disney. There are 2 Publix stores and a SuperTarget within minutes of the condo along with many restaurants. If it wasn't for the check-in process I would rent this unit again. The check-in procedure is nuts. You have to check in at an office a few miles away. They are open between 9:00-6:00pm Mon-Sat. Check in time is at 4:00. I figured I would stop by at 2:00, give them the check-in information (names in the party and copy of driver's license), get the code and go to the actual unit after 4:00. Well I was told I could do the check-in, but would have to come back after 4:00 for the unit code and address. So I had to give them the names in my party and my address and come back at 4:00 to get the actual code! Of course the information they send after final payment makes no mention that you can't have the code until 4:00! If you arrive after business hours they leave the code for you in a drop box, but you must come back to the office by 11:00 the next morning with the names in your party and driver's licenses. I'm not sure how you would do that if you planned to visit the parks the next morning.
The unit is well equipped with towels, kitchen utensils, dishes, etc. and is clean. The bed on the 1st fl is very uncomfortable, hard as a floor. The check in was a disaster. I was given no instructions so thought we checked in at the front desk. Arrived at the security gate and had to argue to let us in. We were told we needed a code, which we did not have. Got to front desk and they said you don't check in here. Gave us a 1800 #. Called and said we had to go to a real estate office not on the property and get our papers in the mailbox. Drove there and there was a code you have to put in the box and the office was closed. We were so loud out of frustration thankfully someone came to the door but said the office was closed. She opened the box and gave us our papers. Back to the resort with our entrance code and door code. I don't know what would have happened if no one was in the office. I read that if you arrive on a Sunday you have to come back on Monday as the office is closed. The common pool area is average. Enough chairs. You need to bring your own beach towels. The pool area does not compare to the pool at Villa Tropico. Make sure the day you leave you don't forget anything. The door code changes on its own and you cannot get back in. Target, Walmart, Publix are within a 5 min drive.
Wow I will never stay in a Hotel Again ...The staff was great ..townhome was huge !! I've never had a full kitchen on vacation before...everyone had there own room and tv ...5 stars
