An enexpected surprise being so close to Geelong.
Basic but cosy cottage. Lovely meeting all the studio people.
Great place for a quiet getaway with your four legged friends-beautiful walks with lots of wildlife and scenery.
We will be back Graeme!
Fantastic place to stay
I was travelling with my two dogs, this place was wonderful.
Cosy and warm.
Graeme is very welcoming.
Private and quiet - the property is excellent for a couple visiting.
Suggestions from our perspective would be:
1. An induction hotplate to cook meals (could not light the BBQ)
2. A dog secure gate as the yard would then be dog escape proof and allow the animals to be outside.
Everything else is comfortable and having other facilities close by is ideal.
We enjoyed the quiet and peace that emanated from the surroundings
The property is deliberately 'funky' but also very comfortable. It was great that we could bring our dogs.As the website states, it is a 'unique experience'. The fresh scones the next morning were a lovely addition.
Cozy and relaxing place to stay
My kids enjoyed the place so much, they didn’t want to go anywhere they preferred stayed in the nice little cottage and also we ‘UBEREATS’ our dinner with a lot of choices from the local shops. Beautiful and quiet place close to Geelong Beach and city area. The cafe has GREAT coffee. One night is not enough to explore the area. Thanks Graeme for letting us to stay. 🙏 Namaste
Awesome host, cosy B&B and looking forward to coming back!
Was lucky enough to have stayed here for two nights, with our ‘circus’.
Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Graeme; and friendly pooch Flo.
Prayag was cool inside (a welcomed relief on 30+ degrees days); continental breakfast supplied (milk, bread, vegemite, butter and jams); comfy couch; and firm, but comfortable bed.
We ventured around the property - chatted to the friendly locals; had amazing tucker at The Door Gallery Cafe (delicious light and fluffy scones with jam and cream; and the Friday night curry special - it was sooo good - I ordered another serving); and strolled along the Barwon River paths, towards the canoe launching area with the two poochies and cat.
Took a while for the other half to get used to the quirkiness, but I thoroughly enjoyed the uniqueness of this B&B. Looking forward to coming back.
