Bit close to a busy road. So a lot of noise we are not used to plus not safe for our dogs when getting them out for a walk or to the car.
Otherwise lovely cottage and we did very much enjoy our stay.
Lovely cottage with fantastic garden to sit in.
Lovely cottage with fantastic garden to sit in. Owners made us very welcome with a selection of gifts on arrival. I would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to explore Cotswolds

The plough is a lovely comfortable cottage in a beautiful location. The secure garden made it ideal to bring our dog away with us for the weekend. Bampton market square is just a few strides away from the front door and has a small supermarket, coffee shops, Chinese takeaway and several pubs. The village itself is beautiful and there a dog walking field within walking distance and another larger one a 5 minute drive away. My only request (and I admit it didn't spoil the weekend) would be some extra coat hangers please in the bedrooms - there was barely enough for a family of 4 weekend away, let alone a whole week!
Lovely village..we only stayed for short break to attend our daughters wedding. Would have liked to stay longer and have a look round.
Lovely clean and comfortable homely cottage with good secure garden for dogs.
Lovely clean and comfortable homely cottage with good secure garden for dogs. Perfect for a mini-break as great walks from the doorstep and and village centre just a few minutes walk Interesting affordable art gallery there too.
The only downside is that it is on a through road (no front garden at all) and there is inevitably some traffic noise if the double glazed windows are left open. There is ample off-road parking just outside on the road.

We had a lovely week at The Plough in April 2019, and used it as a base to visit Cotswold towns as well as Oxford, Blenheim Palace and Cheltenham. The cottage is cosy and well equipped, with excellent wi-fi, and the local pubs are welcoming, especially to males wishing to watch the football! There's plenty of hot water and a useful utility room / cellar to store boots / shoes etc. There is a washing machine and there were plenty of toiletries and towels provided. Communication with the owners beforehand about arrival details was very easy and prompt. We would happily return!
