Absolutely amazing! the home was beautiful. the kitchen, spacious bathrooms, plunge pool and location were great. we had a rental car and a perfect parking spot at the property as well. The fairmont is RIGHT across the street where we often got drinks and lunch. we also went water skiing right across the street as well- so fun! when i come back definitely staying here again.

The house is situated perfectly to take advantage of the Holetown area. It is a short walk to the beach access with a cute little restaurant and an awesome chair/umbrella rental right on the beach next to the restaurant. It is very reasonably priced. The beach is great for swimming and the sunsets are beautiful.

The house is clean and well organized. Everything you need is there. We cooked at home most evenings, followed by a swim in the lovely plunge pool. It is in a small (6 houses) gated complex and very quiet. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was outstanding.

The grocery store in Holetown has everything you need. It is large and well- stocked. There are quite a few lovely restaurants very close by making a night out very easy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week and look forward to coming back in the near future. The owner and house manager were easy to communicate with. This is a good choice for private lodging on Barbados' north coast.

This lovely home is exactly as represented in the description and pictures. It is nicely appointed in a quiet and safe area, the is a short walk for Holetown, which has a major grocery store, lots of shopping and restaurants. There is a very nice french bakery that is a quick 4 min. walk, and the beach is about a 2 minute walk right across the street. This home is set up comfortably for two couples and is lacking nothing. We enjoyed our stay and when we return to Barbados will stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the gate house and would return in the future. Wonderful location and quiet even though just off the main road. The beach is an easy walk away. We enjoyed walking to Holetown by beach...often jumping into the ocean at different points. The bus stop is also very close by...and the best way to travel around in the immediate area. Lots of wildlife...we were lucky to see a family of green monkeys and there are numerous types of birds around the house. Enjoyed eating under the covered porch which has outside ceiling fans. The property manager and team where fantastic in accommodating our needs and helping.

Closest is by Jujus. Lone star fantastic.

The other next to it (roof top?) not so much. JuJu's, good food reasonable price. If looking for an excursion without kids involved, silver moon charters. Take the adults only turtle and shipwreck cruise. Top shelf booze and great lunch.

Day drinking at its finest. My glass was never empty. :)

Awesome vacation, great location, with a nice home. If you are t.v. people in the late evenings, there is only 1 in this home.

Wifi was very good. Able to stream Netflix on tablets without tons of lag.

And last but not least, It's ALWAYS sporty to drive on the opposite side of the road !
