Child friendly cozy cottage
Property was warm, clean, tidy, and comfortable. We found everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking. There is a washing machine and a dryer, no dishwasher however. The lounge was comfortable and there was a small TV, games, books, and CDs. There was also DVDS, however the DVD player didn't appear to work - no problem for us, we'd brought our Chromecast. The dining table seats 4 comfortably and there's an attractive fireplace. Bedrooms were comfortable and warm and each had a travel cot in, but no full length mirror for the ladies; plenty of spare bedding and blankets if needed. There was a stair gate too which was useful as we had a 2 and a 5 year old with us. Bathroom was large and the bath water was nice and hot. Shower gels and soaps were provided. Parking was awkward but we always found a spot somewhere on the street, just not necessarily oitside the cottage. The house next door was being renovated so there was some early morning banging, but not before our kids had woken us up. Lovely views to the rear and a supermarket nearby. We drove to the Aldi in Kendal to stock up on our first say. The back garden might benefit from some attention (clearing the previous guest's dog poos from the little lawn, for example) but it was too cold to use for eating or drinking outside and the kids had the park at the end of the road to play in anyway. Overall this was near to perfect and I can't imagine finding anywhere better for the price in a such lovely little town with Kendal and Windermere being so near. We would be very happy to stay here again.
Great stay, nice location.
A nice well equipped cottage with lovely view to rear. Located close to town with plenty of places to eat and drink. Good location with easy access to dales and Lake District.
Great location in Cumbria
We really enjoyed Fell View. Ross was excellent and so helpful. It’s a little tricky to park on Bainbridge Road. You’ll find somewhere but don’t assume you will be near to 12. There is recycling in the main car park behind the information centre so keep a bag or box and take it there every few days. No big deal. Make sure you walk up Winder Fell. Great views! We will be back!
Lovely little cottage
We had a fantastic stay at this cottage. I only wish I had discovered it earlier. It is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay. So central and an easy walk to town.
Great central location and views
This is a lovely house in a quiet street close to the center of Sedbergh, easy walk to shopping and area walks. Also a great spot for exploring both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. All the necessities are there, and we were very comfortable. Parking wasn't always available in front, but we never failed to find a spot on the street.
Sedbergh hat eine große Auswahl an lokalen Geschäften, 3 Pubs und Restaurants. Cafés und Imbissbuden.
Fell View ist 200 m von der Hauptstraße und sehr ruhig.
