Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Lage. Unbedingt weiterzuempfehlen!
Dear Carla and Stefan,
We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay in our holiday apartment. It's such a beautiful area and we are very lucky to live in such a lovely old Cypriot house. Amber really enjoyed her walks with you and went looking for you after you had left. We do hope that we can welcome you for another visit in the future.

Lovely Cool Apartment
Excellent hosts, Audrey & Andrew, made us very welcome. We had a very enjoyable fortnight +! Unexpectedly good was the working TV with loads of channels for himself to catch up with the cricket! Thank you!
Excellent holiday home
My wife & I enjoyed an excellent weeks relaxing holiday stay for 1st week May. The semi-rural location may not be for everyone, but for us was perfect. From the large patio / garden space the view down across the valley to the sea is wonderful & in the evening watching the swallows was most relaxing, in the garden were ripe grapefruit we enjoyed for breakfast straight from the tree, then fresh lemons for our drinks, the garden is not pristine groomed, but most enjoyable to use loungers & table/chairs under the large Sail for shade covering part of the patio. The apartment has good size lounge area with sofa seating for 6 + small table & 2 chairs, the bed was comfortable (4 poster style), the kitchenette was functional for 2 persons, bathroom was fair size with good pressure hot water. The TV included all UK + others channels + Netflix + a good selection of DVDs were in the rack, internet speed was fast 20mbps. There is a very friendly small dog who was very happy to lap sit for hours, my wife was keen to bring home, there is a very big Avery housing well looked after different birds , we enjoyed hearing them at feeding time.
Minor negatives, the BBQ has seen better days & the entrance walk way from the road was not very attractive, some steep steps up to the swimming pool, but this in no way effected our excellent stay.
If you are looking for a home from home, this is ideal, but if you are looking for bland 5* big chain accommodation this is not for you.
The drive by car from Paphos airport was easier than expected as Cyprus roads are very good, even the mountain roads, there is no close supermarket it is worth buying some shopping on the way. It was easy to explore the Troudos mountain area by car or to the coastal beach areas
We sampled lots of Cyprus restaurants, in Limassol you pay over the odds for a sea front establishment, but away from the sea front there is much better value food.
Flamingos, I read before hand that they are or not in the salt lakes in summer, but some are there all year, they just need finding, we saw them on 3 days in 3 different lakes but all just inland from Lady's Mile beach & salt flats, this beach is ideal for a safe shallow swim & beach cafe's not to over priced.
Our hosts Andrew & Audery were charming & helpful, being available but not intrusive on our holiday time.
Recommended accommodation for quite relaxing touring base holiday.
Thank you very much for your kind review and we were very pleased that you enjoyed a relaxing stay here, it is such a beautiful setting also glad that you were able to see so much of Cyprus in a week.
Re your observations of the entranceway - the entrance door to the apartment stairway has been repaired and repainted this week, we've refurbished the gas barbecue and moved it down by the new African-themed solar lit pergola for our future guests' enjoyment.
Kind regards, Audrey, Andy & Amber.
A fine appartment on a splendid location
A fine apartment on a splendid location
In March 2019 I spent 10 good days in the fine apartment of Audrey and Andrew. The location and the views are splendid. It has a nice terrace where you can enjoy the view. For me an extra was finding 10+ species of wild orchids on walking distance in the direct surroundings. Cyprus is anyway a fantastic island for orchids! Audrey and Andrew are very nice and caring people. The apartment was fine, but it is equipped with only one cooking plate. You must be a bit creative in cooking mails. But on the other hand, Cyprus has lots of places where you can eat for a good price. Andrew has tropical birds in big cages next to the apartment. The birds were sometimes a bit too noisy in my opinion, drowning out the sounds of the native Cypriote birds.
All together a fine place to spend a holiday.

Following a week in Coral Bay we wanted our second week to be completely different, more villages and mountains rather than bars and beaches. This garden studio in Zanakia hit the spot. Charming and quirky with a lovely terrace, stunning views, a very polite parrot and a dreamily affectionate dog. What’s not to love? The accommodation was spotlessly clean, simple but functional. This is not a modern holiday villa, but nor does it pretend to be. Hurrah for that, we loved it.
Thank you so much for your positive review, we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay here. It's such a lovely area, it's so nice when our guests appreciate it as we do.

Away from it all above the sea
Cosy compact studio, rather small cooker in kitchen, disappointed that no broadband or TV whilst we were there, but understand that this issue is now sorted. Nice cool pool to relax after the heat of the day. Good central location for visiting the coast and the mountains, although the eastern end of the island too crowded for our likes, the exceptions (of the ones we visited) being the beautiful beaches at Ladys Mile, Limassol and Evdimou. The adjacent aviary was not too noisy, but we didn't really like to see free-flying birds cooped up all day.
