Great Location and lovely peaceful traditional Cottage
The Hosts were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us.
We had an amazing week here and visited lots of places all around the north and south coasts of Cornwall.
Would highly recommend staying here.
Lovely little cottage in a great location on the edge of Bodmin Moor
We had a lovely stay in Old Dairy Cottage, Ross and Brenda were very welcoming. The location was fantastic right next to Bodmin Moor, great walks and peace and tranquillity! Thoroughly enjoyed the cream tea left for us, many thanks for a delightful time.
lovely little cottage.
Our cottage was lovely & cosy. ideal for us, as it is in a ideal location to visit places around north Cornwall. Easy to find with the instructions given. Brenda & Ross made us feel very welcome and could ask for anything we needed, (which we didn't) as everything was provided. it was also dog friendly & the moors of Bodmin are right on your doorstep. lovely dog walks across the open moors, lovely & peaceful. also the log burner was great as we went in feb, so this was a bonus to us.
You do need a car to get around. will be returning to this lovely place.
A fab little cottage on Bodmin Moor that suited our needs perfectly. Cannot wait to return in 2018.
Our 3 night/4 day stay here was the first time in this part of Cornwall and also the latest we had ever stayed on our many holidays in the county so we were not sure how it would pan out but when we arrived and met Brenda we soon knew we had made a good choice. That was further enhanced when we opened the front door to find a complimentary Cornish cream tea waiting for us! The cottage that we had was perfect for the two of us and our Jack Russell , it was very nicely equipped and was in all truthfulness bang on what we wanted. Having Moorland literally and actually on our doorstep was another bonus as we had never walked the moors before and our JR was well impressed with all that his nose was discovering on his many walks there. I could go on and on about the many virtues of our stay here but I suggest you try it for yourself. The owners were a very friendly couple indeed when our paths crossed and must be very understanding indeed because our JR decided to moult profusely throughout our stay and although we tried our best to clean up about a billion grey hairs I reckon they still had a job to do after we left and as yet we havent been banned from returning so I will be looking to book a return in 2018 as soon as I can. My review has been totally positive because I really cannot find any negatives to speak of apart from the A30 having more miles of Dual Carriageway than our directions stated so we actually missed our turning off of it to head across the moor towards the village but hey ho it just meant we saw more Cornish miles than planned so not really a negative I guess. Cannot wait to return which I guess says it all.
Great place to spend a holiday on Bodmin moor
Kind hosts and nice, functional cottage with all you need. We had a great holiday.
Please contact the owners for further information regarding dates outside of the normal change-over days and short breaks during the low season. Well behaved dogs are welcome, maximum two dogs per cottage (£15 per dog per week). Unfortunately, HomeAway are unable to include the tariff for dog guests in their booking system, therefore the owners will request this separately.
