- NUMBER 1 RULE: Be respectful to others up there. We have some other friends who are staying in the community and own lake houses up there. Please make sure that open fires, fireworks, and loud late night noise to not happen. ATVs and UTVs are not allowed on the streets for any reason within the community. It is a pretty tight nit community. If something happens, I am sure I will hear about it. I have not had any problems yet. These are the directions to the lake house. You can copy and paste these into Google on your phone or computer: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Spanish+Fork,+UT/39.7935956,-email@example.com,-111.4812658,54021m/am=t/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m9!4m8!1m5!1m1!1s0x874db9d7dc27d89d:0x8b6bd315d9f959d0!2m2!1d-111.654923!2d40.114955!1m0!3e0 1) It is the red roof house on the corner of Second Avenue and Highway 96. The house will be on your right side driving on Highway 96 just past the Scofield Reservoir Campsite Inc. sign. 2) Code to front door will be emailed to you the night before or morning of your visit. Sometime you may need to push the door in a little bit while unlocking it to disengage the deadbolt. 3) Water: The water main is turned on. However, there is a water valve under the sink on the right hand side that will need to be turned on. The handle should run parallel to the pipe below it for water pressure. We turn this off between guests to make sure there are no floods, leaks, or water issues. Please make sure to turn this valve off when you leave the lake house. 4) Parking. Please see the section in your guest dashboard about this item. Cars cannot park on the street anywhere up there. You will mat be towed and or fined $100. You can park across the highway along the street. You can also park head in on the concrete pad in front of the lake house and also park two cars parallel to the cabin right where the dirt area is. DO NOT BLOCK the cabin to the south or gate in any way. You will be towed and or fined $100 per occurrence. The community up there is very sensitive to parking. 5) Climate settings: It is often warm during the days and cool at night. There are fans in the bunk room in the back against the back wall. The baseboard heaters work great also. The fireplaces will also produce heat by pressing the three squiggly lines button. By pressing the power button, you can just turn on the fireplace to set the ambiance of the room. You can also use the air conditioning system to make yourself comfortable. 6) Drinkable water. The tap water is safe to drink and the HOA submits a water sample to the state each year to verify the safety of the water. We usually bring water bottles up but it is entirely up to you and safe either way. There are also ice trays in the freezer for ice. 7) Shoes. Please keep an eye on the dirt that gets tracked in. There are boot bins for the wet or muddy shoes. I would also hang up the wet coats and suits outside and let them air dry. Up to you though. 8) Grill: The drill is under the cover on the west side of the deck. There should be plenty of propane in there for you. The new click started has been finicky so I left you matches and a BBQ lighter if the clicker does not work. Please be careful and only start one burner at a time. 9) Linens. We have provided enough linen for your stay. Please make sure that the linens stay in the lake house. Before you leave. Please put all the dirty linens on the floor. Leave the unused ones on the beds. We also suggest that you bring your own beach towels. 10) Gate key. I left the gate key on top of the fridge for you. If it gets lost, it cost $100 to replace it. Please put the key back on top of the fridge when you leave. Please only leave the gate on Second Avenue open. The other road gates should remain locked unless other visitors are up there. 11) Paper goods and Dinnerware: There is plenty of paper goods and dinnerware up there. Please make sure to wash all the dishes that you use and put them back in the place you found them. 12) Trash: Feel free to use the inside trash cans and outside trash can on the deck. The trash bags are under the sink if you fill one of them up. Before leaving, make sure to take the trash to the free dumpsters on your way out to Highway 6. The dumpsters are located on the West (Left) side of the Highway 96. The dumpsters are enclosed by a concrete and chain link enclosure. It is at the same turnout as the state park heading towards Highway 6. If you go past the Scofield Dry Storage chain link fence storage center, you went too far. 14) Direct TV: The Direct TV has a lot of channels including movie channels starting on channel 500. If you have younger eyes that may not be suitable for adult content/language, please be aware. 15) Soap and Towels: There should be plenty of towels and soap up there for you. Extra toiletries are behind the bathroom door. Please help yourself but only use what you need to and please do not take any new items home with you. 16) ATVs and Motorized Vehicles: They are not allowed on the beach area. If you need to launch a boat or wave runner, please do so at the state parks. 17) Cell Service: If you drive south on Highway 96 towards Scofield you will approach the Scofield Dam. Right before the dam there is a turnout. That is the best place for cell phone service. 18) Call me on my cell with any questions: 801-310-6915. 19) Have fun.
