My husband and I had a wonderful Christmas holiday in the charming Dairy Hollow House. It was very clean and was the perfect amount of space. Enough to not feel cramped, yet still cozy.
They even set up a Christmas tree in the main room which was lovely and made it feel very festive.
The bathrooms have been recently updated as has the Kitchen. I brought most of our food precooked so we found all of the accommodations very sufficient. We enjoyed sitting in the rockers on the front porch with our cups of coffee...sitting in the main room watching some shows and reading our books...and just relaxing from the daily grind. It was nice and quiet with the soft sound of the babbling stream that flows under the path to the cabin softly flowing away. The wonderful antique wood floors added an entirely different level of charm. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great. I was the perfect retreat space. And it smelled great! Their custom Eureka Zen essential oil diffuser was lovely...not at all obtrusive or overpowering, just clean and refreshing. We visited Eureka Springs town center a few times and really loved Eureka Daily Roast coffee shop as well as Nibbles cafe, both were awesome! Jill is wonderful and we highly recommend visiting this unique Ozark Mountain gem, what a great little cabin/cottage in the woods! We hope to visit again soon!
Our family enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving at The Dairy Hollow House! Everything was perfect for our holiday in the country. The rooms were very large, warm and inviting. The gourmet kitchen was a dream and I enjoyed cooking our meal while looking out the large windows to the mountain behind. We hiked several times around the property, and saw several deer! We really enjoyed the back deck and front porch with rockers. Jill was really great and very accommodating. We'd definitely like to return to this lovely cabin in the woods!
The property was located in a nice secluded area which we really liked. It is really very nice inside and the rooms were nice too. A few things that stuck out that were real minuses were was the lack of a closet to hang things up, no place to store your luggage except a few plastic containers that were not easy to find. The beds are low so most if not all luggage does not fit under the bed. The rear bedroom bathroom has no doors on it. There is no place to hang clothes either. Another problem is the lack of sufficient parking in case you have guests. For the money it was not worth staying there unless you pack very light.
We had a wonderful stay at Eureka Zen's Dairy Hollow House this past week / weekend. The house and surrounding woods are very relaxing with amenities that make it even more so: beautiful, modern kitchen; comfortable beds / bedrooms; porch with rockers for reading and enjoying the quiet surroundings; back deck where you can eat and cook out; and very quick drive into town. AND we saw a small herd of deer on our last morning -- what a treat for our group of city dwellers!
Beautiful little place. Smelled wonderful upon arrival. Very clean and plenty of beautiful towels in bathrooms. Nice quiete rooms. But the back bedroom bathroom door was missing. Driveway a little treachous for moticycle and parking spot a little tight if you had a big vehicle. But the house was awesome.
The host of this property was so awesome! Every question was promptly answered and she was just so nice deal with! Jill's home was totally comfortable and clean....bedding was great, nice, hot showers, kitchen was well equipped...gas grill was great! Stayed in one night and cooked and we were completely happy!! We would certainly stay here again...already making plans to return! Location was also really close and convenient to town! :)
