The home was warm and inviting! It was clean and comfortable. I loved the amenities, washer and dryer with laundry soap. Hair dryer available and some extras. Paper towels and Kleenex. It was well stocked. Easy access on and off the freeway and to stores and gas stations. Quiet neighborhood.
My family (husband, myself & adult son) had a very pleasant & comfortable stay in Dowena's apartment while we visited our daughter in Salt Lake. The bathroom and kitchen were very nicely updated with a tiled, glass door shower and granite counters in bath & kitchen. Plenty of storage in kitchen for food and appliances (blender, coffee makers, toaster--everything you could possibly need!) We cooked a lot and found everything nicely provided. The neighborhood was sooo cute! Felt very comfortable taking walks in the area. Dowena was wonderful to work with and even gave us an extra night when we realized we had made an error in our reservation.! We would highly recommend staying in her apartment and will do so again if we ever return!
This apartment has a great location, close to downtown Salt Lake and the Sugar House neighborhood. Also, it's as easy drive to Brighton and Alta. The apartment has two room (king and 2 twins) living, dining and kitchen. The apartment is downstairs (outside stairs), very private and very quiet. We had only 2 people in our party, but I think it's big enough for a party of 4. We loved everything about this place. My one complaint is that I love a very soft bed, and did not find one. My husband felt the King bed was perfect, but the twins were hard. Other wise this was a great place. We definitely will stay there again, when we visit family.
This property was amazingly clean and well cared for, the owner provided everything necessary for our all to brief stay. An ideal location for visiting the heart of Salt Lake City and Downtown. Dowena even provided us with the site of a car park very near the Temple and city centre, which we used regularly. Within walking distance of Michelangelo's Italian Restaurant (less than 5 minutes), excellent food. Very convenient for other local attractions including Antelope Island, Ogden, Logan plus others. Also, great to come back after a busy day and relax on the little patio with a drink and a book. Cannot recommend this property highly enough.
Very peaceful and quiet and spotless. We took advantage of the restaurants nearby with Michelangelos a real treat after a hectic day of trade shows. Easy to access highway and surface street into downtown or the airport.
All in all enjoyable and highly recommended.
