Okay place, PLEASE READ!
The condo was comfortable to accommodate 6 adults. Small kitchen but it's doable. Two bathrooms which are great. Fireplace worked out well. Great TV with cable. WiFi was fast. One big down-side to this cabin is that both rooms, especially the master bedroom and closet, had rodent feces. At first, I thought it was something else. I looked at it closely and it was indeed rodent feces on top of the bed board and all over the rug in the master closet. One of my friends who stayed with us is a Certified Home Inspector and verified those are "fresh" rodent feces. There was about 5 droppings on the bed-board and over 30 droppings on the rug of the master closet. The gross part is some of the extra bed-sheets and blankets were on top of the feces, so I'm not sure if the owner or the "Cleaning Person" tried to hide it? As you all know, there is a cleaning fee. So, I'm 110% sure the person did not clean it nor vacuum the droppings. It was disgusting and had a very hard time sleeping the first night. I do know that rodents are nocturnal (comes out at night time in the dark), so I had to sleep with the light on to make sure they did not show up or climb next to me while I'm sleep. It was a very uncomfortable feeling being very sleepy after a long day on the slopes. We paid a pretty good penny to enjoy the cabin and found ourselves being very careful where we were stepping on the rugs in both rooms. At night, you would here the rats/mouses walk between the dry wall on our 2nd night. Again, it was very uncomfortable sleeping there after a long day on the slopes. Overall, it was not a very pleasant stay. Feel free to book if you are okay sleeping on "what-if" or "unknown" if rats/mouses walked on your supposedly clean bed sheets. If I didn't see those feces (even if there were there), the stay would have been great. But, seeing those was nasty and not sanitary at all! I really hope the owners of this cabin reads this and takes care of their rodent problem for future guests!
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Although the Eastern Sierras is a beautiful place to live and visit, we do have to live alongside those pesky little critters. We do what we can to deter them from coming inside units, however as this can be out of our control, we have noted in our rental agreement to inform our office and we will do our best to take care of the matter during your stay. We have informed our housekeeping department who have done a through deep clean in the unit.

The property was older, needed updating, but was clean.
In the master bedroom, there are no windows that open. The condominium does not have air conditioning nor fans. It was hot in in the bedroom all night and caused fitful sleep throughout our stay. The property manager ran out of hand towels but they did they say that they would have the maintenance man drop them off. Much later in the day, as there was no delivery, I called but I was told that the maintenance man was too busy and I could drive back to the property managre's office to pick up the hand towels. Of course, I want to interrupt my family's vacation to run down to the office for a second time in one day to get towels. No one in the office offered to drive them up to the condo. They ran out of washcloths for two consecutive days which caused us to use hand towels as washcloths. . They failed to give me the combination to the bear safe trash bin until I called them for it. It is my impression that the property manager was mainly concerned about taking phone calls for new reservations, but did not really have much concern for the current patrons from whom, they already had their money.

Nice place as Mammoth properties go. Kitchen really small but nice. Firewood was buried in snow frozen into a solid block and unaccessable. Pretty clean. Shortest toilets known to man! Would definitely stay here again.

Exactly as described
We had Thanksgiving dinner with friends in the condo and the kitchen was adequately stocked with everything we needed, which is not always the case with vacation rentals. The condo was also fully supplied with firewood, so we were able to keep the wood stove burning without having to make multiple runs to pick up wood. The reservation office provided great customer service. We didn't have any issues with check-in or check-out, or even with making changes to our reservation. Would highly recommend this place if you're looking to stay in Mammoth.
