Great experience in LA

Great property with spectacular roof deck and views. Private and well appointed home with many fun amenities. We'll stay at this property again the next we have a large group. The kitchen was a little light on cooking supplies but other than that everything was as advertised.

Fantastic property

Fantastic property!

Our family and a few of our friends made a vacation trip to Beverly Hills this Summer. We picked this house for its location, size, modern amenities and stunning views, and the property exceeded all our expectations. We were so happy to be a few minutes away from Rodeo Drive and all Beverly Hills has to offer, yet we felt that we were in a secluded mountain resort. If I have to describe the property in one word it would be luxurious. The views are breathtaking! The pool table and the shuffleboard were great entertainment as well. Management was professional and courteous. Definitely a winner!

Beautiful experience!

We booked The Beverly Hills Mansion at the beginning of August. There were ten of us and we wanted to make sure any house we reserved had enough space for us to be comfortable during our vacation. It turned out that this property was definitely the right choice in so many ways. Large rooms, huge kitchen and open floor plan great for entertainment. The rooftop was superb. The views were spectacular! Also, we were extremely happy with the value for a party like ours. He hosts were friendly and really easy to communicate with. Very satisfied with the experience and would definitely try to reserve the property again next Summer.

Great House with several issues

I will start out with the positives. This house is beautiful, excellent views and in a very quiet secluded location yet close to anything you may want to do in Beverly Hills. We had 8 people rent this house for the week as we were attending a wedding. Upon arrival and inspection, we noticed a very loud buzzing sound of the A/C unit on the roof and were assured that it was just noise. We later came to find out that the A/C units were out throughout the entire house during a week that was brutally hot in LA. We were also instructed upon arrival that we would not have access to the gate to the driveway due to expensive repairs that have happened in the past. If this is the case and the owners do not want to subject themselves to future repairs, then by all means make that perfectly clear in the description of the property. It clearly states there is a 2 car garage, driveway and also shows pictures. Why do all that if you have no access? We also discovered that there were ants throughout the house that required Michael to come back, spray the ants and leave us with the sprayer to handle them while we were at the property. Michael was professional when dealing with our issues but, we still dealt with several times of inconvenience throughout the stay with the A/C repairman who at one point fixed the air during the day for about 7 hours but, that was it. The air was finally fixed the day before we left in the afternoon. At one point two of our guests slept in the chaisse lounges on the deck to escape the heat in the house. I completely understand anomalies and I am sure this property is as everyone else has said in their reviews. What I wouldn't expect after staying and having these issues is for the owner to point out sections of the contract stating they would not refund any money to the renter for this major inconvenience. I was told if I rent with them in the future, I would be entitled to a free night but, that is not very likely since my trips to LA are few and far between. At the very least a partial refund should have been issued and a revision of the description of this property and the contract should take place.

Vermieter-Kommentar: This is a gorgeous home at the heart of Beverly Hills, and its quality and the level of service is evidenced by the overwhelmingly positive experience all other guests have had staying with us. At check-in we familiarize our guests with the entire property and make sure everything is to their satisfaction. We were extremely surprised with Jeff’s reaction. Jeff stayed with us from August 11 to August 18. It happened that during his stay Los Angeles experienced the two hottest days of the year. As a result, one of the two air conditioning units ceased to operate. We immediately arranged for an AC company to perform the necessary repairs the following day, even though it was extremely difficult to bring anyone in due to the multitude of emergency calls. In addition, we immediately purchased and provided two portable AC units to cool the premises on a temporary basis until the AC repair was complete. The following day the repairs were done and both units were running normally. The day after the repair I received a call from one of the guests, indicating that one of the units had stopped working. I personally went back to the property and showed the guests how to operate the unit. Regarding the parking, it is stated in the Lease Agreement, and was agreed that there are two parking spaces in front of the gate and plenty of parking on the street in front of the property, which is extremely quiet and private. Regarding the ants, we had not experienced this issue before, since we have a pest control company service all our properties once every 60 days. When we investigated, we found that there was food left over outside. Perhaps it was a combination of that and the excessive heat. Prior to reserving with us, Jeff had another host cancel on him in the last moment. In addition to accommodating Jeff on short notice, we extended a substantial discount from the advertised rates, even though this was at the heart of our busiest season. After the lease term expired, Jeff requested an additional refund, over and above the original discount due to the temporary AC inconvenience. The matter was presented to the Owners and considered. However the Owners pointed out that (a) they discounted the rate for Jeff in the Summer season, (b) addressed the issue immediately and paid a substantial amount to do so and most importantly, (d) when Jeff complained, I offered a full refund if he wished to quit the Lease and move out. However, he opted to stay.

Living with the stars!

Our group stayed at this luxurious mansion in the heart of Beverly Hills and we couldn't be any more satisfied. Location was 5mins drive from the Rodeo Drive and with the house located on a hill it also gave us the privacy which we were after. The house is in great condition with its own pool table, lounge/entertainment area and the rooftop view of LA is simply amazing. There was no issue dealing with the owner, Michael Draz. He was easily reachable via email and phone and was able to go out of his to ensure our requests could be met. Although we had a couple of hiccups upon settlement of the deposit, Michael conducted himself professionally at all times and ensure the final agreed funds that be return is beneficial for both sides. Upon my next return to LA I would definitely seek to hire this mansion once more!
