Das Haus ist perfekt für Tagesausflüge zu den klassischen zentralen Küste Ziele gelegen, einschließlich Weinland von Edna Valley, San Luis Obispo, Cambria, Paso Robles, Scenic Highway One, Hearst Castle, und Big Sur. Beautiful, relaxing Ocean home!
We really enjoyed our visit! Clean, inviting, well decorated, all the accommodations of home! We were delighted our hosts baked some yummy banana nut bread for us to enjoy during our stay. The deck was absolutely amazing, so relaxing and peaceful watching the sea. We could be more pleased with this home, look forward to visiting again. Thank you!
Comfortable and roomy
We needed a clean, roomy spot for sleeping and late night unwinding while visiting family for thanksgiving. The 3 bathrooms made life easy. The kitchen was beautifully stocked with appliances and tools; though we only used the coffee maker. The street noise till 11 is note worthy but no problem for us. High end linens were an extra pleasant surprise.
Beautiful home & cozy feeling
We absolutely loved our time here at Bob & Susan's beautiful beach house. They provided so much & everything was given to help us feel right at home. We had so much fun & loved every second here!
We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The deck was a great spot to hanging out during the evening. The house is equipped with everything you need. The location is great and the convenient store across the street is helpful for last minute pick ups. My only suggestion would be to have some fans in the living room & in the extra bedroom, (one bedroom has a ceiling fan) or some box fans. It was a very hot weekend and that would have been very helpful to move some of the hot stagnant air around. All in all we enjoyed ourselves and would love to return again! Thank you!
beautiful place, but...location, location, location
I have been coming to Cayucos for 7 years and have been spoiled in my stays by staying in a house right on the beach with my family. I, personally, could not afford that on this trip, so thought this property looked good.
This is not a "house", but a unit above a business. It is on a corner of the main drag through town, above a real estate office and a 7 day a week doggie spa/self serve dog washing facility. You can hear the industrial hair dryers used on the dogs in the second bedroom.
This property is also across the street from one of the most popular breakfast, lunch and dinner restaurants, Sea Shanty (8am-9pm, 24/7) and the only grocery store in town, ( 8am - 8pm, 24/7).
Friday was OK, we didn't settle in until 10pm. Saturday and Sunday, every 10 minutes, no lie, motorcycles going thru town, or parking at the Sea Shanty or Market, and revving their engines. Saturday night was so foggy and cold, we stayed in and watched TV from 5pm on . We couldn't keep the windows open for fresh air due to the motorcycles going thru town until midnight.
If you want to keep the place cool, or with fresh air, you have to open the windows in the front room and the doors that lead to the outdoor balcony off master bed and door to upper level deck to get good circulation thru the place, otherwise it is stuffy. The only ceiling fan is in bedroom #2, whichhas only 1 window, so no cross ventilation. Also, the ceiling fan has only 1 speed, high, medium and low are non existent.
The master bedroom has one wall on the street side with 2 panels of sliding glass door leading to balcony looking out over main street thru town, and a third panel solid glass, no window. You do not want to keep the door open during the day when you are not there, thus leading to a stuffy bedroom. The master bath is gorgeous, tho.
There are several interior suggestions for this place for bedroom #2, -no soap in the bathroom, no clock radio, could use blinds that shut out the light on the window. The place could also use a portable fan that can be used in master bedroom or family room for circulation.
If you are looking for a peaceful place, with the sounds of the ocean as a backdrop, this is not where you want to be. We did not hear the ocean at all, tho 3 blocks from it. If you want a place with street noise and love the sounds of motorcycles, and are walking distance from all local shops and restaurants, with a great well stocked kitchen, look no further!
We answered all questions from this guest prior to her arrival. Our " beach house" as we call it has terrific views and has a great location. This is a small town but there are other people there. It is less than a 3-4 minute walk to the ocean. You can here the bell buoy off shore in the evening. The town is moderately busy during the day with many activities to enjoy. We did have a heat wave on the two days of their visit (as did the whole state of California). We are sorry this guest did not appreciate or enjoy the property as the vast majority of guests have and evidenced by their reviews.
Wonderful place to stay!!
We absolutely loved this beach house. The location was perfect. We could walk everywhere! House is in immaculate condition and has every amenity we could want! We will definitely book again next time we go to Cayucos.

Surf, Fisch oder einfach nur entspannen haben die Wahl. Die kleine Stadt Cayucos bietet viele Restaurants, die für jeden Geschmack oder Budget gerecht wird.
Verbindliche Steuern & Gebühren
If the house left in a condition that requires extra cleaning and/or repair, in the sole opinion of the owner, a deduction will be made from the security deposit. If the charges exceed the security deposit the owner reserves the right to pursue other means to collect the charges. If more persons occupy the premise than indicated in the request and subsequent approval the owner has the right to deduct a charge of $50/day/extra guess based upon observed occupancy by the owner or other associate acting for the owner to make observation of the use by guests. Charges may be deducted from the security deposit for any missing items and failure to respect the requirements spelled out in the "Welcome Book" on the premise and available on request prior to the guests arrival. If a pet is brought onto the property without prior consent a charge of $200 will be deducted from the security deposit in addition to any other damages that may apply, regardless of whether there is pet caused damage or not. Strict "check in" and "check out" times will be adhered to, unless approved in writing. The charge for occupying the premise after the check- out time will be a minimum of 1/2 the day rate if the cleaning person is delayed.
