Nice place quiet and convenient to water . Beds were comfortable and shower was hot. I will stay again!!

This was the perfect spot to relax and wind down after a long hot day at Lucas Oil Speedway. The house was clean and comfortable. I definitely plan to stay here again!
The cabin has adorable decor and we enjoyed the stocked kitchen (and coffee maker!) 😉 There were plenty of extra linens in the bedroom cabinet...and with a few updates to the bathroom (especially the shower), I would give this cabin 5 stars. Thanks for a great getaway!
We are regulars to Pomme De Terre lake every year and have never really found the perfect place for our family until now. This cabin rental was absolutely beautiful and comfortable inside. It is exactly as the pictures show and even more. The fishing was great despite the dock area being flooded due to the persistent rains, but we packed out waders and it worked out just fine. The owner was nice enough to waive the fee for using the dock due to the situation. We definitely want to come back here again. Thank you so much :)
I talked with the owner earlier in the week we arrived to get an address we could use on our computers for detailed directions. There is no address that can be used but we were provided with directions. We are familiar with the area and had no problem finding our way. The owner mentioned that she would visit while we were there. We were away from the cabin at times so perhaps she came while we were gone: we never did see her. A visit may have taken care of many of our concerns. Realizing that this is a lake cabin/house helps, but with a little work it could be much nicer place. The layout is nice and the furnishings were fine. However there were cob webs in the peak of the ceilings and dust on the area above the kitchen cabinets. The area is made using roofing shingles which are probably difficult to keep clean but it appeared like it had been some time since it was last dusted. Other reviews mentioned the stove. The oven needed cleaning and there was foil covering the area under the electrical coils on the surface. The foil was greasy, dirty and needed to be replaced. There was a counter-top electric flat grill but it was dirty and stored in a cabinet with work tools. Paint cans were stored in another of the kitchen cabinets where pots and pans were. Many of the pots and pans also needed to be cleaned. We were there three days. Paper products like paper towels and toilet paper were provided (1 roll of tp and two or three small partial rolls). We had to buy more. We also had to buy trash bags (2 on hand) and dish soap (one container about ¼ full). The Triangle store is not far away and they had these items.
The picture in the listing gave an impression that the boat dock could be seen from the house although that was just from the picture shown. The owner had advised that the dock was about five houses away down the hill. The boat dock cannot been seen from the house and the only way we found it was by searching the area - keeping in mind the picture shown on the listing and “five houses down the hill”. The area under the back/sun room where the bar b que grill was located needed to be cleaned up. There was an old golf cart stored there and other items that looked like they needed to be thrown away. The gas grill was functional but needed some updating since the burner unit was old and burnt out in a couple of places. There was also a charcoal grill but it was filthy. A brush was provided for cleaning and we tried to make it better.
Wir befinden uns appx. 4 Meilen westlich von der Staumauer, hinter dem Dreieck Convenience Store und der 254 Café. Wir sind erste Stufe und unsere Bootssteg ist ein sehr kurzer Spaziergang. Wheatland Park Bootsanleger und schwimmen Strand ist auch ganz in der Nähe und ist ein guter Platz für Kinder zum schwimmen und spielen.

There is a cleaning fee of $50.00 per stay up to 4 persons. An additional $10.00 per person per night will be collected for groups larger then 4. VRBO now charges as of February 2016 an additional processing fee of appx 10%. To waive this fee, guest have the option of sending a check. Ask for details.
Check out time is 11:00 am. Please adhere to the policies, they are posted in the cabin and also will be sent to you prior to your arrival. If cleaning is in excess, additional charges may apply
