A Perfect Flat in a Perfect Location
This flat is absolutely wonderful - large, comfortable, clean and perfectly located. The beds are comfortable and the linen is classy. Kate was responsive, friendly and helpful. We loved being across the street from Sandy Bell's - a Scottish pub with traditional Celtic music every night; we could walk to most Fringe venues in 15 minutes; a Saintsbury's is less than 2 blocks away; and the street has many well-priced restaurants with good food. Being in the middle of the action often comes with noise, but we simply closed the windows and slept peacefully. We look forward to staying here at future Fringe Festivals.
La casa es estupenda, no le falta detalle, buen ubicada, bien equipada.
Hemos pasado una semana en familia con niños, la casa está muy bien ubicada y tiene de todo para poder pasar unos días en Edimburgo, los propietarios muy atentos y se han molestado en que estuviéramos le mejor posible.
La casa tiene todo lo necesario para poder vivir allí, la única pega quizás es que el salón es un poco pequeño para poder ver la tele 5 o 6 personas, pero por lo demás es genial.
Recomendable 100% en todos los aspectos.
Large clean and comfortable.Great place and location.
If you’re looking for a large clean comfortable place to stay in Edinburgh look no further. Location, location, location! The pictures on the site don’t show you the fantastic room sizes, detailed crown moldings in most rooms or decorative woodwork. I believe the master bedroom once was the living room and must be at least 23 x 18 ft. in size. All bedrooms have generous sizes, comfortable beds and great storage. Bath and toilet have separate rooms which make it convenient for obvious reasons. Kitchen is well equipped and washing machine does come in handy. Have a morning tea at the round glass table in the living room while looking out the window down Forrest and Chambers Street up to the Royal Mile and enjoy the beauty. Mums Comfort food right next to the flat is a great place for breakfast or lunch and the Sandy Bell across from flat is probably one of the best local pubs in the city. Uber will pick you up right in front of the building if needed. You do have to walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to the flat but if a 60 year old guy that has bad hips and walks with a cane can do you it so can you. You will not be disappointed.
Beautiful Property, Excellent Location
Kate greeted us at the property to drop off the keys and show us round, which was very welcome. The facilities are excellent, and there was more than enough space for the six of us. A great choice for the Fringe festival, as lots of the better venues are really close by. Can't recommend this place enough!
Superb location for enjoying the Festival
Clean, well equipped apartment with spacious bedrooms and easy access to the Fringe events, which is what we came for.
Some late night street noise is the trade off for the location but certainly not a deal breaker! The kitchen and dining area is a little on the small side if you want to cook elaborate meals, but perfectly adequate for breakfast and oven ready meals. We tended to eat out anyway as there is plenty of local choice for food.
Kate, the owner responds quickly to e-mails and provides plenty of information for making the most of Edinburgh.
From booking through to staying, everything was a very pleasant experience. We'll be back!

Edinburgh was absolutely lovely, the apartment location was great, walking distance to everything including restaurants, groceries, museums, the castle, the train station and whatever you may need, my kids were delighted with the frozen yoghurt store across the street. We did not need a car to move around, we used the train to go to Stirlin and Inverness for two days, also safe and very efficient. The apartment is is located in a very safe area, people walking at any time at night without any worries. Property managers Kate and her husband were there to great us and gave us recommendations and great info about the apartment and the city. They are a lovely and very friendly couple.
